Liberty Tree Tavern

We were there early October of this year and just happened in for lunch. From the sounds of most post it would have been a bad choice; however, I had the roast beef and it was tasty. Possibly I lucked out by chosing the best entree they have to offer. :)

Just so you know, the lunch and dinner menu's are currently completely different. More people like the lunch fare there much better, including me.:)

We ate there for the first time in September (dinner). All of us really enjoyed the food (by that point we had seen all the characters before so they weren't the driving force). We had seconds on the potatoes and turkey. That being said - we're a meat and potatoes family. I cook almost everything we eat from scratch, and I thought it was one of our better meals in the world. Maybe we had a good night? It was one of the few dinners that my girls didn't eat hotdogs or pizza, and they both had seconds on just about everything. We did not eat any of the mac-n-cheese after the first bite though. Dessert was a very yummy apple cobbler w/ ice cream. We've eaten at Garden Grill as well, and LTT topped it by a mile!

I give it an 8.5 (the only other meals that came close for us on our 4 days of Deluxe Dining were Akerhaus and LeCellier).

We just went for lunch (2:30) a couple of weeks ago, and it was so-so. I was STARVING, and I enjoyed my turkey dinner - it was good, but nothing to brag about. DD and DH liked their meals as well, DH had the burger, I think, and DD had the kids beefaroni platter (came with fruit and veggie which was a nice change for a kids meal). Our service was horrible, though, we won't likely be going back. 5 out of 10

DITTO!!!:thumbsup2

We had lunch there (turkey for everyone) on August 24 and we liked it. It was good, solid food. It wasn't great mind you, but it was good. As for the mac and cheese, it's definitely not Stouffers because I LOVE Stouffers and it was horrible. I think, if it is Stouffers, it's the new, lower fat/calorie stuff and it was gross. But that was anywhere in the World we had the mac and cheese. I really wish Disney would butt out of my diet and make things right! :rotfl:

Liberty Tree Tavern is my husband's favorite restaurant and a must-do for our family. Both lunch and dinner are enjoyed. We will miss having the character interaction! Our family gives it an 8 - especially for comfort, regular food.

i love this place for both dinner and lunch. we'll still be going there every trip even with no characters.

LTT is a must do for lunch every trip we make to Disney World. I love the lunch menu and we have never had a bad meal here. Although, we have never eaten dinner here.

We're going there for lunch for the 1st time in December. Can't wait.

We were just there for lunch. I would rate it a 5. Food ok, but heavy and certainly not good.

I'd rate it a 5 on food.

It's average, not terrible, food. It's basically "mass produced" Thanksgiving dinner for a cast of hundreds. I wouldn't go so far as to say it tastes like a TV/frozen dinner...it's MUCH better than that, IMHO. But it's not a stupendous culinary achievement, either.

We go because the food is decent, and the characters are fun.

I'd give it an 8 for the food. We ate there June 2007 and it was a welcome variance from the other types of food at DW. It reminded us of a home cooked meal! Although my DD is disappointed about not having a character dinner there next year we will probably go back to get the delicious food.

We ate there last November and the food was actually really good, in our opinion. So good that we booked it again for next month.

The food was good not great & not bad. Would definately go back again.
