What at Liberty Tree Tavern would be good for a 7 year old very very very picky eater?

You would think it was ok for a picky eater but my picky eater ate nothing!! She didnt like the turkey (too dry/can't swallow it), doesn't like cooked carrots, didn't like the pepper and spices in the corn, doesn't like potatos of any kind, and gagged over their version of mac & cheese.

But if you child likes mac & cheese and corn and turkey, you might be alright.

It's all Stouffer's food--the same you can buy in the freezer section of the grocery. You could do a trial run at home! Enjoy!

My DS age 6 who eats mac & cheese everywhere also did not like it at LTT. DS9 did like the corn dog nuggets and they both ended up eating that. This was at lunch, so it was ordered from a menu and came with a blueberry muffin or fries.

Lunch is different than dinner. At dinner you are served "family" style at your table with choices of meat, mac and cheese, a veg and so on. We didn't care for anything much at all for dinner. If your kids are so picky that they won't eat Stouffer's (sp?) frozen mac and cheese, then Good Luck! (My son hates it and my daughter barely touched it.)

My three little ones (9, 6 and 4) loved the food...then again, they like Thanksgiving dinner...that might be a good yardstick. My boys love baked ham, turkey and roast. They love potatoes, corn, bread and mac-n-cheese (they like the homemade kind which the Disney stuff resembles way more than any sort of boxed kind) and they LOVED the characters! We have been twice (both times for dinner) and are big fans of the place. **A word of caution, we did see other kids doing nothing more than eating rolls and their poor parents got stuck paying for a full meal** We also loved the Americana theme and seeing the characters dressed up in coloniel period garb!

If you do end up going, make sure you seat your kids to the outside of the table in order to get the best character pictures. There is very little extra space to manuver in and out from behind the tables to snap pictures!

I completely disagree - the food at LTT is NOT all Stouffer's. The mac & cheese is, but definitely not the rest of the meal.

The turkey, ham, and beef we ate was tender and juicy - it certainly did not taste like typical frozen entree meats I've tasted. We enjoyed the green beans, mashed potatoes & gravy, and stuffing. We also liked the very cheesy mac & cheese. Everything was fresh and delicious - and tasted homemade. Not to mention the salad, very good rolls, and apple cobbler.

The kids around us were wolfing down the food, but they especially liked seeing the characters come pose with them at their tables.

Just my opinion.

I agree! While Stouffer's is the sponsor, as far as food, it is just their Mac and Cheese. We went to the character dinner and DS 3 1/2 loved the whole experience. Best character meal we had.

We only do LTT for the character dinner.

Does your pickey eater, eat Thanksgiving dinner?

It is all decent food. We always leave there way over stuffed & happy with our meal & character experience.

Actually, it is, though. I asked when we were there. According to our server, Stouffer's is their sponsor and supplies their food--same stuff as in the supermarket. I doubt it's coming in individual tv dinner-type trays, but the source is the same. LTT may "fluff" it a bit in the preparation, which we all can do at home, but it starts as Stouffer's food.

BTW, my statement that the food is Stouffer's was not meant to be a comment on its quality--although that meal isn't a favorite of mine. Simply to point out to the OP that if she wants to, she can get the building blocks of that meal easily enough at home.
