For the LTT if you do that latest lunch possible (I think that I read 3pm somewhere) and you stall, will you get the opportunity to see the characters without having to spend the money on the character meal. That's is just SO much food.

We had a late lunch there on our Nov/Dec. 2006 trip and did not experience this. It seemed like they were preparing for a short "shut down" period when we left to clear out the lunch crowd.

We eat a late lunch there as well. We have never seen characters. Have you ever eaten lunch here before? It is my favorite place to eat at the world. We eat lunch here every stay and have never been disappointed. The pound cake their is a MUST! I have never tasted something so good.

Nope you won't see the characters if you go to lunch. They close between lunch and dinner.

Strawberry Shortcake -- pound cake with vanilla bean ice cream, berries, and whipped cream

or this ?

Butter Griddled Pound Cake - Served with warm pecan caramel sauce and vanilla bean ice cream

The 2nd one is the one that's (supposed to be) gone. I remember a lot of disappointed DISers posting about it.

They now have something called the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake -- vanilla cake with a gooey toffee filling and caramel sauce. I'm hoping it will compare to the butter griddled pound cake!
