Liberty Tree Tavern - Has It Gotten Better?

Glad to hear all the great reviews as we are having dinner here for the 1st time before MNSSHP. Just wondering- our ADR is at 5:20 but I heard there is usually a long wait...is this true?
We were there 2 years ago for dinner (on a non-party night) and we waited close to an hour after our ADR time. We have eaten dinner there before MVMCP, but our reservation was at 4:30. That night we did not have a long wait time to be seated and we we were done by 6.
If it were me, I would consider looking for an earlier time, as not to miss too much of the party.
Whatever you decide, have a great time!

We go almost every trip, but always for lunch. I'm not a fan of family style. I love the salad, and hubby always gets the pot roast. I have nevre had a bad meal..I would go just for dessert !

NOTE1: The dinner at LTT is pleasant and a nice way to spend some time in small dining
areas. The food is usually average and, for WDW, priced reasonably. The pork loin is tender
and delicious. The carved beef usually rolls off your fork. Turkey-is-turkey, so not much to
add. AppleCake is nice and tasty -- it's too bad the lunch Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake isn't on the
dinner menu! REALLY gooey. Fortunately, there are no more characters at dinner. There
are enough character meals in MK, and mk does not need LTT with characters. We didn't care
for the ham, it was very salty. Check your food upon arrival, as sometimes the pot roast is
dry and should be sent back to the kitchen for a new plateful.
.
NOTE2: This is only Comfort Food, and nothing special-unique-upscale. Like most character
meals, one expects just average food. Although no longer a character meal, the food recipes
were not changed from when it was a character meal.

.
NOTE3: The lunch at LTT is pleasant and a nice way to spend time in air conditioning. Try
Crab and Spinach Dip for two, the New England Pot Roast, then the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake.
There are no stellar eats within MK for price vs food quality, but this is probably the best of
the lunch in-park restaurants. We enjoy the lunch more than the all-you-can-eat Dinner. The
dinner food seems a little bland to us compared to the lunch. Besides, for smaller appetites,
it's a good place to share.

We haven't been to LTT for about four or five years now, but upon hearing some recent reviews we decided to give in another shot for lunch during our Sept trip. We're not expecting fine dining or 5-star service there, but have things there improved or stayed about the same as far as food quality and service?
LTT has always been one of our must do restaurants. Until last visit. We were very disappointed. The food was very lackluster, and one of my favorite things is the salad dressing. It was not good. We have, however, fallen in love with Skippers, so it is now our go to restaurant.

ETA: the problem with the food is that (especially the meats) it tasted as if it had been around for a while and not fresh. The service is excellent, though.

We love having lunch there! The Liberty Boys BLT is awesome! (At least it was in 2014...)

We had lunch there in early June and it was wonderful. I had the Colony Salad, DH had a burger and my DDs shared the kids turkey dinner. Everything was very good! It's definitely on the repeat list.

I didn't think there were any options or choices at dinner? Has that changed? I thought it was an all you can eat thing, with the dessert being an apple type crisp, but it's been a while. We loved it...especially when my son was young and it was a character meal.

I didn't think it needed improving either. One of our favorite shots for lunch!

It was our "Plan B" for a day when I just needed something inoffensive. It turned out to be one of our absolute favorites out of 10 days of DxDDP meals. We did a LOT of dining. We're trying to hit different restaurants when we go back, but my family always reminds me to make sure we do this one again.

It is still all you can eat Thanksgiving dinner. And still very yummy.:)

I love LTT but for lunch. Their colony salad is so good. Their burgers, fish and chips and pot roast are to die for. But the best part is the ooey gooey toffee cake. Their raspberry sorbet is really good too by the way. We go every trip (10 trips up to now) and have never had a bad meal.
