We've only been there for dinner, but this year I want to skip the Thanksgiving meal served at that time. Problem is, my husband really really wants that. For lunch, can he get the all-you-care-to-eat meal and I get something different? Or do we both have to get it?? Please answer the way I want! TIA
(I looked on Allears and they don't have the meal listed for lunch time)

It's available at lunch too. I'm not sure if you both have to order it though. There's a pot roast/mashed potatoes entree, would he be willing to consider ordering that if you couldn't order something separate from the all you can eat?

I'm not seeing the all-you-care-to-eat meal on the current lunch menu. They didn't have it when DW and I ate lunch there last year.

That said you don't have to all order it... he could order it and you can get something a la carte. If you don't pay for it, you can't nibble off of it even if he has food left over.

allears is only accurate when people update it, disney's website is updated much more frequently.

We were there a couple weeks ago and I got the turkey platter and my bf got the fried fish. No problem ordering different meals. They didn't have any problem with us sharing, but we didn't ask for more of anything - we just ate from the initial plate(s) that they brought. Not sure if it would have been an issue if we had asked for more.

Has anyone recently been able to order the former turkey dinner? (Not the all you can eat Patriots platter)

We ate there just a few weeks ago for lunch. Last year, I had the turkey dinner. I did not see the "turkey dinner" on the menu when we were there a few weeks ago. So I got the Patriots Platter which includes everything that I had with the turkey dinner and more. The server informed us that we didn't both have to order the Patriots platter.

So, on the current menu do they have the Patriots Platter for both lunch and dinner? Doesn't look that way on allears, but on Disney it does. Can anyone confirm? Thanks!!

I know they have the Patriots Platter for lunch, because I was just there for lunch a few weeks ago. To my understanding it is on the dinner menu as well. I had read that they did away with the turkey dinner and now serve the Patriots platter for lunch and dinner. I confirm for lunch. Perhaps someone else can confirm for dinner, but I am pretty certain Patriots Platter is now for both lunch & dinner.

Dinner is served family style, basically the Patriots Platter for everyone. There is no a la carte menu at dinner.

Thanks everyone! That's what I was hoping to hear. Hubby can eat his turkey meal and I can get what I want for lunch.

Clearly I am not keeping up with dining news: when did the ala carte options return to lunch at LTT? And more importantly, is the pot roast the same?

They added a couple of the ala carte options a few months back. I believe the pot roast is the same. Unfortunately, to get the turkey meal you now have to get the more expensive platter. Not sure if you can still request the turkey plate. Our request was granted, but that was last year when they first made the change.

That's my plan! Glad my husband can get his turkey platter without me having to eat that also.
