We've eaten at LTT many times for dinner but have never had lunch there. I know it is not a character meal for lunch. Can anyone share their lunch experiences? Should I make an ADR or would we be able to get in as a walk up? Also, what is a stand out on the lunch menu? Thanks!

We were always curious too, so we have an ADR for the first time on our upcoming trip in April. I would like to hear reviews for it also.

Hmmm...standouts...none, really, that I can remember. The burgers are good. But LTT is fine for lunch. They give you good portions if you like to eat, which I do! Plenty of choices for all.

My DH insists on eating there once for lunch every time we are in WDW!

He raves about the New England Pot Roast! He tells everyone we know about this. It is a hearty, rich dish so he and DS (teen) always share it and have plenty! Unless they've changed it in the past 18 months, it comes in a bowl that I swear is really a serving dish! I laughed the first time I saw it.

I've most recently had the Pilgrim's Feast (turkey) and Old Glory (burger) and have also been more than happy.

One thing that I MISS SO MUCH from this restaurant is the dessert: cream cheese trifle (or something like that). It was layers of cream cheese like pudding and blueberries and strawberries, topped with whipped cream. I asked for the recipe but they wouldn't give it to me!!! They had this on the menu in the 80's and 90's but then poof! it was gone!

We always do lunch at LTT. It is much better than the dinner, and thankfully it's character-free. I always order the crab cakes and usually the colony salad. DS and DD like the Old Glory (cheeseburger). We never miss lunch here.

We love LTT for lunch! We enjoy the fried cheese appetizer and the William Penn Pasta (grilled chicken breast, applewood smoked bacon, mushrooms, spinach and a creamy marinara sauce). We order without mushrooms and spinach and have no problem from server about that. I also love the butter griddled pound cake for dessert (has caramel pecan sauce and ice-cream). I love caramel and it can be hard to find.

We had lunch there a few trips ago and as I remember it, it was good, and the servings where pretty big. I think we ate there in Jan. 05, the first time we used DDP. It might have even been Sept. 05 :confused3 We used our last credits up for this meal. Of course, now that I know more about DDP, I wouldn't use a TS credit here, but I would eat here again, and pay OOP.

My DM had the Pot Roast and I had the The Tri-Corner Sandwich ( Roast beef and swiss cheese with liberty slaw, horseradish cream sauce, and arugula served on herbed focaccia with tavern fries $10.99) which was very good. I'm sure my DD had the mac 'n cheese. I remember that we were too full from our lunch to eat our desserts, and ended up taking them with us. I think we got the Caramel Apple Tart (no ice cream)

We didn't have an ADR, we walked in and were seated fairly quickly. But it wasn't a busy time.

We enjoy having lunch at LTT a great deal. I would suggest getting an ADR as often it is quite busy.

We had lunch here a couple of times, but haven't been back recently- we tried the dinnner a couple of times and I think I'd like to try lunch again.

I recall the crab cakes as my favorite item. Dh liked the pot roast (or was it stew? served in a bread bowl? very yummy but too rich for me). The bread and honey butter are wonderful as is the salad with strawberry vinaigrette.

Hmmmm....I may have to plan for this on an upcoming trip....

we love lunch there and my DH is another fanof the pot roast, I love the salmon, burgers were good as well as the sandwiches. we have gone all different times of year and have never been disappointed. Ice tea is yummy too!

Us too! Ours is on April 21. We booked it because at lunch time we expect to be closer to Liberty Square than Main St., which is where all the other TS restaurants are. We need TS because of my Dad's extensive food allergies - he needs stuff prepared specially for him, as he can't eat most pre-prepared things. I hope it will be good! We aren't that picky though, so as long as the chef listens to Dad and makes him something he can eat, I'm sure we'll be happy.

We had lunch there in '05. We ate during parade time and had the place to ourselves. So, if that time frame works for you, you probably wouldn't need an ADR!

Trying if for dinner this time around! I'm sure we're going to love it!

We ate there our last trip. We thought it was good. Our Waiter was so nice. It was slow and He sat down with us and played the games on the kids menus with our sons. He asked them about some History and made jokes with them. We really enjoyed it. Sometimes it is not just the food that makes a place great.

We went two years ago, and we thought the food was great. We, too, loved the pot roast, and are thinking of going back on our next trip!

We had lunch there in Nov (first time we had ever eaten there) and it was very very good. The service was a little slow considering they place was nearly empty, but the food was very good. I had the Wm Penn pasta and my friend had the pot roast. Both were very, very good. You have to ask for bread at lunch as they don't serve it automatically, and it was also very good.

We loved LTT for lunch. Our waiter was wonderful and the food was excellent. DH had mozzarella sticks, William Penn pasta, and the griddled pound cake - he really liked the cheese and the pasta, thought the dessert was good but not great. I had the crab cake, Colony salad, and strawberry shortcake - all were delicious. The salad was so good, it just was a good mix of ingredients and the dressing was great. DS had the mini-corn dogs and at them all.
We would never do LTT dinner because I really dislike Thanksgiving-type food, but LTT for lunch is on our must-do list!

We had lunch at LTT last year while on the DDP and it was one of our favorite meals! The portions were large and really good. We tried the Colony Salad, Pot Roast, and the desserts :) When I'm not on the DDP in May, I plan to have a late lunch for our dinner one night.

We went to LTT for lunch on our first day at WDW. Wow. Our very first meal on the free DDP and it was so good. I had the crab cake followed by the colony salad and it was really good. The teens had Pilgrim's feast and for dessert we had the butter pound cake, strawberry shortcake and the chocolate cake - all were really good. Even though we had ADR's, we had to wait a bit as there were lots of people waiting. Well worth it, though.

DH and I have had lunch at LTT our last two trips (Sept 05 & 06) We really enjoyed it. We have tried different things each time. except we have to have the crab cakes. There is great variety and the desserts are great. I see you are going in July. I would definately make ADRs. Just pick the day you'll be in the MK. LTT is so centrally located, you won't have any trouble working it in to your schedule.

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I'll be going for lunch solo in April - planning on ordering the Colony salad
