Character meal at Liberty Tree Tavern Jan-Feb 2010 (Breakfast Menu added to 1st post)

I would imagine it would stay the same. Great lunch menu, (don't miss the pot roast, especially good when it's cold outside) and the "Stouffers Thanksgiving" menu (meh) for dinner....

This is awesome news. I'm one of those people that wanted to eat at LTT on our first day and got very discouraged when I could not book it for dinner. However, I took what I could get, which was 3pm on Jan 5 (missing the parade!). I wanted the all you can eat thanksgiving dinner, so I was dissapointed to have to take lunch. Turns out that I'll still most likely get the all you can eat thanksgiving themed lunch, AND my 3 year old and 1 year old will see some characters! I'm so excited that this all worked out for us!

Slightly OT-
Now how would this work with the parade- presumably the characters would be in the parade so they can't be at the restaurant at the same time because the parade goes right by LTT (unless the route has changed since 2008)... maybe they just run away right before 3 and return after the parade?

I wish the liberty tree tavern always had characters like it did it the past I enjoyed it..god knows the food was not that good on multiple visits there at least the characters made up for it

I talked to CRO CM and IPO CM about this today. I was told Minnie, Pluto, Chip & Dale. The IPO CM said the breakfast would include some fancy peach stuffed french toast.

I want breakfast but the CRO CM told me lunch would be family style NOT the menu they have now.

I read where they are adding breakfast with characters to LTT! Has anyone been successful at making a breakfast ADR yet???

I have tried calling 3 times the past few days and after explaining to the CM's that YES LTT will be having a breakfast character meal in January (one was convinced that I did not know what I was talking about...geez reading the Disboards should be required reading!), I was told to try later but nobody knows what "later" actually is.

We are going in Feb. and CP will be closed. We have heard that they are going to open another Character meal in MK during this. Any ideas where this will be? THANKS

Yes...Liberty tree Tavern will become a character meal again while CP is closed.

...so I asked about LTT in Jan-Feb. Supervisor called another dept for confirmation and then was FINALLY able to pull up a memo.

Memo stated characters now confirmed at lunch and dinner. Mickey, Pluto, Chip & Dale. (What happened to Goofy and Minnie!?)

Memo stated nothing about breakfast. I asked her if breakfast info would be released later. She said not at this time.

Memo stated both lunch and dinner would be a family-style turkey dinner. I asked if we'd be able to order off a menu for lunch, she said not at this time.

She said this arrangment is temporary and is subject to change without notice?

Oh no....my dh can't stand the turkey meal at LT. We have an ADR for lunch on Jan 3rd. Now I have to come up with something else. Does anyone know if breakfast is confirmed and just not in the system yet, or if it isn't actually even confirmed?

Winnie the Pooh and his friends make frequent appearances at the United Kingdom in EPCOT. My brother and his wife just saw them there last month.

I just got off the phone, and the CM told me there was only breakfast with the characters and that Lunch and Dinner would have no characters I booked CRT for lunch, and got the time that I wanted. I'll call back later to see if another CM tells me something different about LTT (which I am sure will be the case).

Ugh, I saw the announcement regarding characters before, and it almost made me cancel my plans for LTT for my solo trip in Feb (4-11). I figured I could just have them skip or give them a quick wave and not worry about it.

The Family-Style thing though means that they most likley won't be serving the lunch menu, which is what I was going there for . Oh well, it's great for those looking for that and I wish them well, now I have to figure out where to plan for this day again ><.

I felt the same way! I made an ADR there because our kids are 18 and 20, and we don't need to meet any characters. So I guess we'll be waving them by also.
