Only if you like it please. I've heard all the crummy things already. ;)

Tell me good things about the food, the service, the theming, the characters, anything. Just make it positive. :thumbsup2

I have never done dinner there, the menu just never appealed to me while at WDW.

However LTT for lunch is one of my favorite things and I feel hidden jems of MK. It is always a nice quiet and relaxing retreat. Cool and comfortable, or warm and dry depending on the outside. A great escape of the crazyness of MK, with good food and serivce. I have always had great food there, good variety. :thumbsup2 :teeth:

I have never had a bad meal there (food or serivce wise, I did have this time where a really nasty women sat near me and belittled her own child, insulted me and my kids and basicly everyone else in all of WDW that really got under my skin. But I figured it was more important to have a nice meal with my kids then tell her off so I somehow managed to keep my mouth shut. My DH to his day doesn't know how I was able to not say something back to her.) The food was still good that time. :)

Oh and the chief was really good about DD's food allergies. :thumbsup2

We had dinner at LTT last OCT before MNSSHP and loved it :cool1: The food in my opinion was very good. It wasn't gourmet by any means but I wasn't in a gourmet mood either :) If you like Thanksgiving type food you will be fine. And it is a lot of food. We had turkey, ham and flank steak as the main course. They start you off with rolls and salad. You also get mashed potatoes with gravy, mac and cheese and a vegetable. We had green beans but I think that can change. The desert was warm apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream. But if I'm not mistaken the menu said cherry cobbler.

The characters were the best!!! :cool1: They each came by our table several times. Chip (or maybe it was Dale) tried to sign my DDs autograph book at least 4 times. We finally had to hide it :rotfl: The service was great we never had to ask for a refill. The atmosphere is great.

I may be in the minority here but I reallly like LTT and would go again.
sorry this is so long

We love LTT. We haven't been for the table service lunch (but's it on my list of things to do), but we have been to the character dinner 3 times in the past 4 years.

What we love:

Colonial American look of the restaurant and servers
That we were called to our table as "From Minnesota, The Albright Family"
The steak and pork!
Salad! YUM! Could eat a whole bowl of that myself
The dessert! YUM! YUM!
The characters! We would see most of them twice, but everyone at least once

I personally don't like any kind of mac n cheese, but the rest of my family yummed it up!

If you have never been, definitely make a stop there! Only you will be able to decide if it's a great place for you.

We have eaten there several times. The food never changes, not that is a bad thing. You always know what you get and there are no surprises. Good comfort food and we have always had very good service. The characters are nice, but I could do without them most of the time.
Now that the castle is all princess meals, I think LTT is the best place to eat in MK.

I have not been to LTT before but we have an ADR for lunch on our first day at WDW. I am really looking forward to it. I had originally chosen dinner but I think the lunch menu appeals to us more. Having said that, the dinner would have been just fine with us also. Enjoy! :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

We have eaten dinner there before MVMCP several times. Personally, I like the food. Not crazy about the mac and cheese, but thought everything else was better and average. Ex-Hubby really liked the flank steak. I thought the 'taters were good. I remember passing on dessert 'cause we were stuffed. No problem with character interaction either.

I say go and enjoy it. Have fun.

We went to the LTT in April and loved it. Very family friendly, the characters were not rushed at all (each made multiple rounds to our table), food was good, service was also good. We are going back in July and are doing LTT again, as it was my kids favorite.

Love It!

Always get LTT before MNSSHP :thumbsup2

Nothing like a good home cooked meal before going out and having fun!

We are just back from 10 days at WDW!! We ate at LTT for lunch and dinner. We are just plain folks who like plain food (meat and potatoes). If your family is the same, I highly recommend it!

Be aware that for dinner you don't get to choose your dessert (apple cobbler), but for lunch you get choices! Of course, for dinner there are characters - at lunch, no characters.

We went for dinner during MNSSHP and we had a wonderful time. The food was flavorful and the entertainment was great. I highly recommend this place.

Enjoy lunch here (never had dinner). Kids ask for this restaurant, which is unusual.

Desserts are huge and can't be beat. The Apple tart (apple pie in a shortbread crust) is so good, I feel like I'm cheating on my husband when I eat it . . .

I had dinner at LTT for the first time last May and just went back again this year, and will be doing it again next time back, LTT is my favorite, everything about it is wonderful, the food, the characters, it is just a can't be beat character dining experience!!! :thumbsup2

LTT is a must do on all of our trips. It is my DH's favorite place. It just has good comfort food. Mashed Pot. & Gravy, Turkey & dressing, Mac & cheese, ham, etc. We love it. My kids are too old to be into characters anymore but it is still on the top of everyone's "must-do" list.

We really like it. I found the service to be outstanding. I had asked for a recipe and it was one that they didn't have printed and ready to hand out. The chef had our server get our email address and when we arrived home the recipe was waiting in my in box. I love the salad at LTT.

We absolutely love LTT. It was our ds9's pick last month for his birthday dinner on our WDW trip. It is definitely on our must do list on each trip. We've never had bad service there and the character interaction is always very good. It's also one of the more relaxing and quieter character dining restaurants which we also enjoy.
