I know it's a bit early to be talking turkey, but has anyone actually celebrated Thanksgiving dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern? Our party will include my older sister (who doesn't quite "get" the magic of WDW...It's okay, we're ditching her after the holiday) my niece and her SO and my dearest friend. My friend has her heart set on eating Thanksgiving dinner at LTT. In all of our many trips to the World, we've never eaten there and could really use some advice. Is the food that day traditional turkey type and would you recommend it? Is the restaurant fun? Thanks for any help you can offer!

Its the traditional turkey and fixins(we did it christmas 1998) and mac and cheese and either ham or steak, cna't remember(go to wdwig.com and see menu). It is good and characters are in colonical clothes..very fun. Make sure you call right at the 60 day for that day!

My family and I did Thanksgiving at LTT a couple of years ago. In fact, here's a short review of our adventure: Thanksgiving at LTT

The food is good, the service was exceptional in our case and the characters were a blast! Besides calling 60 days in advance, WDW Dining will need a credit card to hold the PS since its a major holiday. Sign up for my newsletter and you'll be notified when the 60 day call date is coming up.

Happy Planning! :teeth:

Just wanted to thank you both. Looks like our Turkey Day is all set! I will remember to get in at the 60 day mark!

(Planning is everything, isn't it?)
