I cannot speak for LTT, but they have a lunch menu for children and a dinner menu for children. If you are going to dinner, I would expect to be ordering from the children's dining menu considering it is dinner.

Now that does not mean you cannot ask if they can order from the children's lunch menu, and hopefully they will allow it, the worst they can say is no and your children will have to find something on the children's dinner menu to eat..

Good luck and maybe some who have had experience with this aspect of dining at LTT will post.

Wow, I learned something new today. I thought it was all "family style" there. I didn't know they had a real menu.

I would think that the items on the lunch menu are still in the kitchen. I refuse to believe everything is brought in fresh every morning. I don't see the harm in asking.

I can't speak for the LLT because I haven't been to the dinner, but I have picky kid eaters too and I usually ask for chicken strips if there isn't anything on the menu. All of the restaurants seem to have them (or can get them from an adjoining fast food restaurant) and I've never had a problem getting them. If they have them on the lunch menu there, I'm sure they would be willing to accommodate you.

No chicken strips are available anywhere in WDW anymore. They now have healthier Chicken Nuggets.

I remember going for dinner and all that was for the kids was off the family dinner. The turkey was dry and seemed like everything came from a box. It was much money for little character interaction. My kids had salad, and cobbler. The mac and cheese was like soup.

I know this is not the ideal route - but the rolls and desserts are awesome at LTT. Your kids could easily fill up on that!

I love LTT for the rolls and salad alone! Mouth watering just thinking about it! :thumbsup2

You are right, dinner is served family styleand you can get more of anything you want. I would seriously doubt lunch items are available. Unlike a pp, we found the dinner delicious and the character interaction over the top.

If you smile and ask nicely a server in any restaurant will usually be able to find something acceptable to almost every picky child and sometimes picky adults too. In WDW peanut butter and jelly is available but sometimes not on the menu at all TS.

I too wouldn't think you can get the lunch menu at dinner since it is completely different. But as PP said, it doesn't hurt to ask. The kid's menu listed previously is the same as the adults-it's all served family style.

As a PP stated, we like the food. The turkey with gravy and mashed potatoes are good. The salad is very good as is the dessert. Have to agree about the mac 'n cheese-horrible.Unlike other poster we found that the macaroni was overcooked and gummy. Not at all like I make at home (and no, it's not out of a box).

Go, you'll enjoy it. And since the characters are leaving soon, this may be your last chance.

At a family style meal like this, even if they can find you something else for the kids, expect to pay the "set price" as if they had eaten the family style meal.

My daughter is SUPER picky and doesn't even eat meat (just doesn't like it). She thought LLT was great because she got yummy rolls, mac & cheese, & mashed potatoes. She was in heaven! I thought the food was really good too, so we are returning this year for the food alone (don't care that it's a character meal).

When we dined at CRT she didn't like the options available for kids so she was able to get plain buttered noodles instead. And yes, they still charged me the regular child's meal price (something like $20 for dinner) but I didn't mind, I was happy to pay for it since they were willing to give her something she would eat. So even if they do give your kids something from the lunch menu, I'm sure you will still be charged the same rate as the family style meal (not sure if this is an issue for you, but thought I'd mention it just in case).
