Not you guys. Some dumbo at member services. I called today to buy MVMCP tixs for 11/11, which is a non premium date. So the guy quotes me the price of $48.95 plus tax. I asked him if there was a DVC or AP discount. He proceeds to tell me that the price he gave me was the DVC discount price. I proceeded to tell him that it was my understanding that there were premium date and non premium date prices published and that I was requesting a non premium date and that he had not actually given me a dvc discount. I don't mind (okay I really do since there should be a DVC discount) there not being able to get a discount but don't lie to me and tell me you gave me a discount when you didn't. Plus it took over 30 minutes on the phone with the dumbo to get him to actually process the transaction and figure out how to charge my cc.

Maybe he made the same mistake that I made...

The before tax advanced purchase price is $48.95.

The DVC discounted price including tax is $48.94.

Taking his side, I would guess that he quoted you the discounted price including tax (given that he may have been .01 off).

I posted a correction today on DVC News.com, but then realized that they had posted the DVC discounted prices after taxes. I had read them as being before taxes. Darn taxes!

okay, that explains makes sense, i couldn't figure out why my non premium dates were coming up so high, must be including tax

still think i'm going with the regular advance purchase tix for the Sunday prior to the DVC discount date (Tuesday)

Last MNSSHP it was forecast for heavy rain the day we had tickets, so i went to guest services at park & traded them in, switching for another night that week.

i'm not sure if you could do those with the DVC purchase to be held @ will call?

Sounds like you had the same CM I did
He quoted me a total that was about $50 more than I was expecting, but said it included tax & shipping. After thinking about it some more, I called back this morning and found out he booked me for the wrong date
Fortunately, they were able to stop the original order, process the correct tix (and pricing) and issue a credit to my CC.
They are even shipping me the DVC tix instead of making me go to will call since I was freaking out about getting the right date. She said she'd send them so I could see they were correct.
