Liam's Birthday

I knowit is late in the game, but we will be in WDW for DS 8th Birthday. does anyone have any suggestions for a special dinner for him. His BD is 11/27. this year it is the day before thanksgiving. i know I am very late, but I appreciate any suggestions.

check firework times for that night and book the California Grill - great viewing or do one of the dinner shows you can probably still get him in there. If you want to take him to see something special take him to Cirque Du Soleil in Downtown Disney - it is AWESOME and you could eat somewhere down there.

My 8-year-old's favorite Disney restaurant is Teppanyaki. I would choose some place where you know he'll like the food.

Make sure to note that it is his birthday when you make the ps and also when you check in at the restaurant. Almost all the restaurants will do something to note the birthday, usually a small cake. The most impressive celebration we've had was an almost full-size layer cake, a certificate and a song by all the servers in Norwegian at Akershus. It was my dh's birthday, and he loved it! We ate breakfast on his birthday at 1900 Park Faire, and they brought a beautifully decorated over-size cupcake and had the whole restaurant to sing.

Also, make sure to pick up a "Today is my birthday" button at City Hall in MK or guest services at any of the parks.

What about a late lunch at Tony's with Pooh characters or Garden Grill with Mickey, Chip and Dale? You could also go to dinner at Chef Mickey's which has an ice cream bar or to 1900 Park Fare. My 8 yr old ds would pick a character meal, no contest.
