LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact Eugene photobombed your selfie with Rapunzel!! And it is SO amazing that you got to see the same friends of Rapunzel & Eugene 2 years in a row! As you say, the chances of it happening are so slim & it just makes it all the more magical - There was clearly some major pixie dust being sprinkled in your direction!!

You will have an amazing time at MNSSHP! Rapunzel is my favorite too. I never thought anyone could top the princesses of my childhood but Rapunzel is just so much like me, she is my girl for life. haha

They used to meet together in Merida's current location but in 2011 they took Eugene out for some HORRIBLE reason. Now he only meets with her on special occasions like the Halloween & Christmas parties and Valentine's Day. I'm pretty sure he will be with her at the 24 hour event this year too.

I know right! I feel like the odds are very small because I see pictures of characters on Instagram, Tumblr, etc all the time and I've never seen those two together before besides in my own pictures... I would remember. So I just feel really lucky that it happened. He is totally the man!

When you have such a great interaction with a character, you want it to always be just as magical, but it's so hard with so many different friends of each character. I totally get that. The first friend of Rapunzel we met was SO amazing, I was sure none would ever be just as good! So to get the same amazing friends two years in a row at MNSSHP...I mean, is there anything else closer to perfection than that?!?! Well, besides that friend of Eugene, I mean, he seriously looks like he stepped right out of the movie!

I totally forgot about your selfies. So hilarious! Even better than Photopass was there to capture the behind the scenes selfie action.

I know! I've had a lot of GREAT character experiences and then I meet the character again and it's a different friend and it's like, I'm sorry but no! That happened to me with Ariel and Aurora... at my MNSSHPs they were PERFECT and then on the May trip they were both just kind of meh. No characterization and just didn't seem to fit. I hate to be critical of performers but Disney has so many INCREDIBLE ones that when you then get someone who maybe doesn't nail it as much, it's so disappointing. So to get these flawless character friends again was quite something! I was so happy.

WOW THAT PRINCESS WAIT TIME! I honestly feel like the waits have gone down drastically at parties since they moved them back into the fairytale hall, i dunno why, but I don't feel like as many people wait anymore? I dunno its weird.

AS IF YOU GOT THE SAME PAIR!! I've met Rapunzel's friend a few times before and she really is wonderful, she's super cute! I *think* I met that Flynn on valentines day but honestly that day was such a blur and we had so many friends hanging out with the princesses that day that I sadly don't remember much about the princes!

hahaha I could not contain myself anymore I was so happy! Also it just felt wrong to be all serious in the Fairytale Hall. The joy was busting out of me at that point. And yes he is excessively dreamy. He should tone it down a bit cause it's out of control.

Day 2, Part 9 In Which A Girl Dances With A Prince​

After being photobombed by the man of my dreams, I floated away on a cloud and over to Snow and Charming!

Before us, this adorable couple who was dressed as Cinderella and her prince met them.

I LOVED THEM. That will be me and Eugene when we are older.

What I remember about Snow White is that her laugh was PERFECT. It was just like in the movie. She loved our costumes and said we looked wonderful. The prince took my hand and stared into my eyes and said it was lovely to meet me and I was still so overcome with Eugene love that I was like I can’t really handle this right now but OKAY HI.

Jess and I talked about how we're in the Boo To You parade and Snow was like, "I'll see you there!" cause of course she is in the beginning holding a mask and playing with Dopey. Jess said to the prince, "You too, right?" and he was like, "Oh no! I have to stay home and take care of my horse. That's Snow's thing." It was cute, they seemed so natural as a couple!

This is my favorite picture because look how mesmerized the prince is by me.

Sorry but you aren’t Eugene. I CAN’T CHEAT ON THE LOVE OF MY LIFE.

This is just precious.

I had to smile in some of the princess hall pictures even though I originally planned to just do my dead face all night. I WAS JUST SO HAPPY!

But I struck my lifeless pose as well. Hello.

I think how Snow and Charming are holding each other is so cute.

They were great!

Next we went outside and got in the other line so we could meet Cinderella and Aurora.
Cinderella was first!

This line was almost empty and so there was some downtime. Cinderella and her prince did this absolutely ADORABLE thing where, when they had no one to meet with, they would literally just hold each other and stare into each others eyes.

They would talk quietly to each other while looking COMPLETELY in love. It just touched my heart because oh how nice it would be if love was really like this all the time! LET'S JUST ALL HOLD EACH OTHER OKAY GUYS

As soon as the prince saw us, he got our costumes! We have some smart princes up in here tonight. Cinderella was like, “My my my, look at your princess dress!” half impressed and half scared, haha. I told her my dress had been through a few crazy nights and the prince laughed but Cinderella seemed concerned and was like, “Oh I see that. But fun ones I hope?” and I said of course!

I said I lived at the mansion, and the prince said he was very happy we came over to see them before going to the parade and thanked us. Umm thank YOU for being gorgeous!

In general, all the photographers and attendants in the Fairytale Hall seemed thrilled by our costumes, it was really REALLY cool. We felt like a big deal!

Okay, so here we go onto the next absurdly magical encounter. This was something that was not even a dream come true because I never imagined such a thing would happen to me. OH, DISNEY WORLD.

It was time to meet the wonderful Aurora and Phillip. They were one of my favorite meets at MNSSHP last year, so I was very excited!

So while we were waiting to meet them, either the photographer or attendant started talking to me and she was INFATUATED with my costume. Then it was our turn to meet them and Jess went right up to them but the CM was still talking to me and asking me all these questions! I was like ahhhh, I want to meet the prince and princess! I’m sorry, I know that sounds horribly rude, but I just felt like the meet was going on without me. She was really nice though and I so appreciated all her sweet comments.

Since Jess was a cowgirl, they were talking to her about their horse Sampson, which I only kind of half overheard. Once I was able to join in, they seemed STUNNED by my costume and started fawning over me so I was like

Aurora asked me if I was okay. She was overly concerned and it was hilarious. She said I looked very pale! I said, “I’m feeling great actually, because I love Halloween!” She seemed relieved LOL.

Phillip said I must have been to a ball of some kind to be wearing such a beautiful gown. I was like, “Well, I was dancing in the Haunted Mansion ballroom. Luckily, they let me out once a year!” Aurora said, “Oh, you must be a very good dancer!” so naturally, I twirled and I believe there was some OOOhing and AHHing over my lovely dancing.

BUT THEN.

Oh, oh, oh. But then.... Aurora did the best thing ANYONE has ever done in the history of the universe.

She said, “You know, Phillip is an amazing dancer! You two should dance together!”

I didn’t know if it was really going to happen or if she was just saying in general, you know, sometime we should dance together. But then without missing a BEAT... Phillip extended his hand out to me. This was basically my reaction:

I felt like the most special, beautiful princess in all the land as we danced!

Do you know how many times I watched this scene?

And now, I was LIVING IT!

Day 2, Part 10 In Which We’re Hot, Fancy, and Regal on the Carousel!

That was by far one of the most MAGICAL moments of my entire life. It’s not like Disney World ever becomes even slightly commonplace, but you know, when you’ve been as much as I have, a lot of stuff is more repetitive, expected magic. This was an EXTRA special moment.

What a completely surreal moment. Disney makes the magic come alive in ways you never thought possible. THANK GOD there is a place that you can go and things like this can happen.

I’m sure it would seem silly to a lot of people. But I don’t care who you are, if you watched all of these princess movies growing up, you wished that could be you dancing with the prince or princess. And I ACTUALLY GOT TO DO IT! What a dream!

Thank you Aurora, for being one of the most awesome princesses in the whole world and lending me her prince for a dance!

I will never, ever forget it!

I literally did thank Aurora for lending me Phillip for a dance and she said, “Oh of course! Any time!” and I wanted to be like “Really? ANY time? How about now? For the next 3 hours or so?” But I refrained.

Once we took our pictures and walked out... everyone around us was like WOW OMG hahaha. I didn’t even notice because obviously Phillip and I were in our own little world, but everyone was watching us and stuff. I was in total haze. Like THAT on top of everything with my main man Eugene?! I couldn’t handle it.

Jess and I were just like silently walking out of there in shock and then we got into the store and she was like “DID THAT REALLY HAPPEN?! LIA YOU DANCED WITH PRINCE PHILLIP.” and I was like I KNOWQIKNOWINQINQKQNOJFDOIFNKJNALF

We just kept repeating it cause we couldn't believe it was real. It was adorable, Jess was just like “Did you just dance with Prince Phillip? Like that happened.” and I was like “That DID happen, right? I didn’t imagine that?” and she was like “OH IT HAPPENED.” and I was like, “Good. You’re my witness. I have proof I wasn’t totally dreaming!” which was the same thing I said to Lee-Anne when I met Alan Rickman, hahahaha. I was like YOU SAW THAT IT’S PROOF IT HAPPENED, LIFE IS AMAZING RIGHT NOW AND THIS IS REAL.

That’s how I felt. Every experience in there was flawless, but seeing Eugene and Rapunzel again and having him get my costume and the photobomb and the whole deal... I was already walking on cloud nine and then to dance with a prince... I just... I can not... I will never get over it. I will NEVER, EVER get over it. It never fails to make me happy any time I think about it. And that is why I will always feel bad for the naysayers who are missing out on such a profound and singular joy as this. People can go on and on about how much Disney costs and the whole thing, but man, when things like this happen it just makes the already worth it experience into something beyond memorable. I really hope everyone involved with making me happy this whole night and whole trip realizes the joy they bring to people. This is not just a job, this is an opportunity to bring light, sunshine, and MAGIC into someone’s life in a spectacular way and I am so THANKFUL to those Cast Members that go above and beyond to make that happen! Your job matters, don’t let anyone ever tell you it’s silly or look down on you for working in a theme park. Because my God, it matters.

We saw these Trick or Treat buckets just sitting in the princess store, which I found weird but liked. Yay, random Halloween stuff!

I believe I told the one CM I saw in the store that I just danced with Prince Phillip, hahahaha. I tend to do that anytime something really awesome happens to me, I always tell people on the street who I don’t even know. I’m weird. She was like, “Wow, you’re lucky!” I was like oh I know

Jess really wanted another picture of her being hot and fancy while she looks smiley and alive and I look dead LOL. So we asked a CM to take one of us.

So hot and fancy!!!!!

I looked at the time and realized that we were AN HOUR ahead of schedule! As I've said, I had planned our night carefully. I figured that after meeting the princesses, we would have to head right over to Main Street for HalloWishes, but that wasn't the case at all! There was still about an hour until it started! YES!!!!

We were so happy to have so much free time to just chill and enjoy the party as opposed to running from attraction to attraction! Jess ran into some friends near the carousel, so we talked with them for a bit. There was no line for the ride at all, so I decided it was the perfect time for me to FINALLY go on this attraction!

I actually think I may have ridden it on my first trip. Ever since then I've always skipped it, but since we had so much time I was like AWW YEAH CAROUSEL TIME BABY!!

There ya go... don’t be afraid to go to a sold out party! You will be fine. A sold out party is still nowhere near as packed as a normal busy day at MK. They are designed to give you a unique experience and that includes way less people being around!

Anyway... I love being hot and fancy.

It was really a lovely ride! I’m so happy we had the extra time to go on!

What resulted is one of Jess & my favorite pictures EVER. I decided to do a selfie with one of the horses because I am ridiculous. So naturally Jess had to photobomb.

We are finally on-board with this, your latest TR masterpiece. In reading all the updates tonight there were so many great moments that we loved, but here are a few of our highlights... WE REMEMBER WALT DISNEY WORLD INSIDE OUT!! That was such a great show and why isn't Disney doing some great self promotion like that now?? The Disney channel in the 90's was just so much better!!. Also, we loved your Jack Skellington / Sally meet and great pics. The look on your face in those pics really captures how the magic of Disney is not just for children (WE GET IT!!). Lastly, your interactions with Eugene and Prince Philip were priceless. We are constantly asked why we keep going back to Disney, there is just NOWHERE else where this type of magic is made on a daily basis. Cannot wait for the next update!!

Bahahahah!! He was hanging around Phillip at Christmas the two parties we were at and he & Steven just had the ULTIMATE sass off! Like, to the point of we walked into the princess room the second party and he went “oh it’s you again” and then turned to aurora and was all “I met these two a few nights ago” …..so did aurora #whoops HE’S PERF!

UGH! WHEN THE COUPLES DO ADORABLE GROSS THINGS LIKE THAT IT’S TOO MUCH FOR ME TO HAAAANNNDDDLLLLLEEE. Some of them just work SO well together and are so perfect at it, it’s just amazing, like, perfection!

YIIIAAASSSS that dance with Phillip is so perfect, ah! What a MAGICAL MOMENT!! I love him!! AH AND THAT AURORA IS LIKE, MY FAVSIES!!! Lol, they’re great! Yay for magic!!

We were at the same MNSSHP and met this Snow and her Prince. They were just the sweetest pair. Snow was perfect and her Prince was fabulous. My favourite meet & greet of the night for me.

As we walked into the hall we were watching the other groups as they were meeting Rapunzel & Flynn and Snow and her Prince; one family walked straight out after meeting Rapunzel and Flynn, completely ignoring my favourite pair but the Prince was hilarious - waving at them as they walked out and wishing them a good evening. How could you walk past such perfection?

Not to be creepy, but we did see you guys a couple of times that night - your costumes were fabulous - even better than the pictures show. Well done ladies

Oh Yeah, Disney Magic at it's best and on display, proving yet again that you don't have to be a child (physically) to experience these moments, like dancing with a prince. And you know what? It takes a true Disney fan to recognize these moments for what they really are. And YES... it matters.

Yes we did!! It was so much fun! As for the crowds I think it was so empty b/c people were lining up for the first Boo To You but overall the entire night was at least 50% less crowded than I anticipated!

hahaha I know, I think everyone was maybe a little jealous. I know if I saw a girl do that while waiting in line I would be like "WHY isn't this happening to me right now?!"

Bahahahah!! He was hanging around Phillip at Christmas the two parties we were at and he & Steven just had the ULTIMATE sass off! Like, to the point of we walked into the princess room the second party and he went “oh it’s you again” and then turned to aurora and was all “I met these two a few nights ago” …..so did aurora #whoops HE’S PERF!

UGH! WHEN THE COUPLES DO ADORABLE GROSS THINGS LIKE THAT IT’S TOO MUCH FOR ME TO HAAAANNNDDDLLLLLEEE. Some of them just work SO well together and are so perfect at it, it’s just amazing, like, perfection!

YIIIAAASSSS that dance with Phillip is so perfect, ah! What a MAGICAL MOMENT!! I love him!! AH AND THAT AURORA IS LIKE, MY FAVSIES!!! Lol, they’re great! Yay for magic!!

Yeah, he was with Phillip the only other time I met him! I like him a lot! I mean he's no Eugene, but really who is? I LOVE THE SASS OFF story hahahaha. Oh my God I love characters so much. Can we please just go to Disney right now and meet every character?!

Yes I have met Alan! I actually saw him in person twice before actually getting to talk to him the 3rd time at a play he did so that caused a lot of build up LOL. and oh my God. OH my God. That's what I have to say about meeting Alan Rickman is: OH MY GOD.

We were at the same MNSSHP and met this Snow and her Prince. They were just the sweetest pair. Snow was perfect and her Prince was fabulous. My favourite meet & greet of the night for me.

As we walked into the hall we were watching the other groups as they were meeting Rapunzel & Flynn and Snow and her Prince; one family walked straight out after meeting Rapunzel and Flynn, completely ignoring my favourite pair but the Prince was hilarious - waving at them as they walked out and wishing them a good evening. How could you walk past such perfection?

Not to be creepy, but we did see you guys a couple of times that night - your costumes were fabulous - even better than the pictures show. Well done ladies

I totally agree with you re: the cast members who go above & beyond to make such magical moments for people. And I love that couple who are dressed as Cinderella & her Prince meeting Snow White & Prince Charming - Fab!

You couldn't ask for much more than dancing with a prince! Except of course to have a friend moment like the one in this picture. New princes will come along but you two will remember this pic forever! I know because it reminds me of a pic me and bff took way back in errrr....'80 something.

Aww! You are totally right! Spending this trip with one of my best friends definitely means more to me than all the princes in the world. A couple nights later we were looking back at that picture and just laying on a bed at Pop CRACKING UP like we could not stop laughing at it. Forever one of my favorite pictures!

WOW. What an amazing stroke of pixie dust that was! You got to dance with PRINCE PHILIP?! Literally, my jaw dropped when I read that. That is just too awesome. So lucky! I hope one of the princess's friends is reading this, because I totally would oblige to a dance with one of them.

Charming and Cinderella do look so adorable together! Best looking couple of the night IMO... well... next to Rapunzel and Eugene, of course.

You REALLY were not kidding when you said Princess Fairytale Hall was so amazing!!! Dancing with Prince Phillip is really amazing, I can't blame you at all for freaking out!

Love your Carousel photos, too. I'm really amazed how much y'all were able to get done on a sold out night! The horse selfie + Jess photobomb is pretty much the best photo ever.
