LI event outcome?

Any members add on at the LI event? My DH and I were there and wrote up the papers for a 50 point add on at AKV, but we are second guessing this decision. I asked the guide there if we'd get 2008 points on this purchase since our use year is October, he said no.

I came home and called my guide (the one I've been using for 9 years) and she said yes, we'd get the 2008 points at the $13 off a point, (which is how we bought), but we wouldn't get the 2008 points if we were getting the friends and family promotion price of $19 off per point.

So..now I'm waiting to hear back from her because I asked her to look at how the LI event guide wrote it up once she can see it in the system.
If we get the 2008 points it's definite (we can bank them, and that makes a big difference since we already own an add on there), but if we don't get the 2008 points we are going to seriously rethink the purchase.

Just wondering how many of us actually sat down with a guide over the weekend

we went to the LI event and added on with 270 at BLT, DH said it was better for us to have 1 contract at BLT and one contract at AKV so we can vacation with home resort advantage at 2 properties or we can combine them both at 7 months and stay somewhere else.

we are very happy with out add on purchase.

We purchased an add on of 100 points at AKV.
We also have an October use year and were told that we would get the 2008 points.
I am now curious how this will be written up.

We added on and were told we'd get 2009 pts, but we have a Feb use year. Did you see the other thread where a number of other members posted about attending and adding on? I don't think I saw anyone on that thread who mentioned getting 2008 pts.

Added 220 BLT points at LI event Monday, and I'm still smiling!

We added 200 BLT points at the LI event yesterday and are thrilled! Can't wait to use them!

We added on 200 BLT points yesterday. We have a Dec. use year, so I'm not sure about 2008 points. I called my regular guide and left him a VM asking about it.

we were told by the guide there we wouldn't get any 2008 points with a December use year because BLT was not open then. We would get all of 2009.

We are fine with that so it is not a big deal.

We added a 125 pts at VGC. Now we now own at both AKV and VGC.

I was there on Sat 4pm , but I was happy with there incentives. I just had some friends that came back from the world and was also there on Saturday and they told me that the inscentives were much better down in FL.

I haven't decided yet, but I'd Like to add on another 125 points. I'm leaving today and will look into it.
