LGMHPC: what do you do w/yours?!

I am looking for creative ideas with those Lime Green Mickey Head Paint Chips from the Home Depot paint collction!

*Disclaimer* - I am only talking about 2, maybe 3 of these at the most!! I am NOT discussing nor advocating the swiping of handfuls of these babies!

I actually have one, and will probably get a 2nd, and want to attach them to my lanyard or PassPocket or whatever I'm carrying around in a park. I figured I'd put my DIS name on the front, but what other, more creative ideas are there?

My wife has a sticker making machine she uses for scrapbooking. I ran the mickey head through it, and made a sticker out of it. Then I placed it on the cover of my laptop.

Not too creative but I laminated a few of them and put a ribbon on them to tie on to whatever bag I am carrying that day.

Oh, and I hung one from the rearview mirror of our rental van so I could find it easily in the sea of rental vans lol.....

Ok, now see?!...I didn't think of laminating them so that's good!....thank you!! Does it help them hold up better? I imagine it would after a week+ of being dragged around in the Florida sun/heat (not to mention things like Kali River Rapids!!).

By the way, just curious - on your trip, did you ever have another DISer see it and say anything to you?? There was someone at our resort on our last trip who had a HUGE one in their room's window!!...plus a bunch of little ones strung like streamers. But we never did get to see who they were...

Party of 3 on these boards made me some cute laminated ones that ill be using for luggage tags! im hanging them on my bag in the parks and i hope i see someone!!

I made myself a luggage tag Not creative, but it worked. Plus, I will have one on my back pack that I will carry to the parks..

take the LGMH chip off the square and pin the LGMH to your shirt!

No one has said anything to me, but I have noticed others, and said hi. DD and I were waiting in the line up to meet Jack Sparrow at the P & PP, and two DISers were in front of us, and they noticed DD tshirt from the DISigners and I noticed their LGMH's!! Great way to make a long, slow moving line move quick!!

There is a guy here on the DIS (BradisGoofy), who makes really cute t-shirts and hats embroidered with the lime green Mickey head. I bought one of each from him and have been noticed a couple of times. As far as the Home Depot LGMH I usually glue two back to back, write my screen name and cell phone# on them, then laminate them and have used them for luggage tags and nearly always have one hanging from my park bag. At Wal Mart you buy the little self laminating laggage tags and they have a little rubbery loop thing you can attach through the hole of the luggage tag (hope that made sense ). I also usually either tape a few to my resort window or glue together, punch a hole in them, then string them from ribbon or string. I also have quite a few that I stick magnets to and put on my resort door. All of this, of course after pulling them off the paper backing they come on.

At our Home Depot they are directly across from the paint desk. I've spoken multiple times to the people working there about getting a few rolleyes: ) LGMH. they never care. The main guy that works there saw me come in the other day and I guess I looked frustrated that they only had a few. He laughed and called out, "you going to see Mickey again?" . He then came over, saw they were almost out, opened up the cabinet underneath and laughingly handed me two unopened packages. I asked him again if they minded people snitching the LGMH paint chips and he continued to laugh and say no, in fact they thing it's hilarious the way some people come in and instead of just saying why they want them or just going up and openingly taking them, people try to get creative and sneaky, as they 'snitch' them. He assured me they really don't care, but love watching people trying to sneak out of there with a handful. He said "Do you guys actually think we believe someone would paint a room that hideous color?" He's asled me more than once for planning tips for going to WDW and I've referred him to this board. He said he's told his wife about it, but I don't know if she's checked us out yet.

I have laminated them and worn them hung from a lanyard around my neck and on our stroller. We have decorated our resort window with them. I have had people (not many) speak to me. I also have one hanging from my rear view mirror in my car.
Just make sure if you see anyone with one to speak to them!!! I met a grandmother, mom and young daughter from NJ in MK in Jan. and we had a nice conversation-just wish I could remember their screen name. NJDisneyDivas??
