Hi all! We are heading to Lexington, KY for a football game soon and since we have waited till the last minute, most places are sold out nearby. So, we are in need of some locations and maybe even hotel names that you guys may know of that are not too far away from the UK stadium (within a 2 hour range off of I75 coming from GA).
Looking for something less than $150/night if possible. We are thinking of spending the 2 days after the game in the Knoxville/Pigeon Forge area as well, if anyone has any suggestions of places there too?
TIA

If everything in Lexington is sold out, you may want to try Richmond (30 minutes or so south on 75) or Georgetown (10 minutes north). Or as a last resort, come on up here to Northern KY (about an hour north on 75). PM if you need more specific information.

Coming from Georgia, the FIRST London, Ky exit( I think it is 192) has a couple of well known chain hotels right as you exit. Also several places to eat, plus Walmart,Walgreens etc. I have family in the area and it is a safe stop. About 80 miles on to Lexington from there.. Also, agree with the other poster that Richmond is nice.:)

It's Homecoming!!! :cheer2:

I would think that if Lexington is sold out (which I would actually find surprising - we have SO many hotels here!) then you should be able to find something in Richmond (about 20 minutes away), Nicholasville, Versailles or even north to Georgetown or West to Frankfort.
