Letting go

I'm still working on letting go of that railroad trollop. I've got exactly 3 days to erase her from my world - I sure hope I can do it, and if I do, I'll let you know before midnight on the 1st of January.

The only way I have been able to deal with hurt or disappointment is by accepting them. When I accept that there is nothing I can do about it, I then try to just learn to live with it. I decided a long time ago that I can either go through life upset and depressed about things, or learn to live with them and try to make the most of what I do have in my life. I try to focus on the wonderful blessings I have in my life. The one thing I can control is my attitude.

I wish I knew how to let go. Somethings I am just not ready to let go of yet, though I need to. Holding on somehow seems easier then letting go.
I'm afraid if I let go then I will forget. I never want forget.
So for now, I carry things from year to year. I'm in limbo and I wish I could rewrite the past sometimes.
I bet letting go would be the right thing to do, but I need to hold on for now.
