I have just received an email from my Wedding Consultant about my letter of agreement. I am stuck when trying to answer one of the questions please help!

The question is:

Are there other responsible parties signing the contract? (please list their names and relation to Bride and Groom and contact information including address and phone number)

My Dad will be paying for a large amount of our wedding so do I put his name here?:confused3

Thanks

I put my mother down, not only because she's paying for some of it, but she's also involved in the planning process. But, I think it would make sense for your father to sign it, since he is partly "responsible" for the wedding and will probably will be in contact with them at some point!

My consultant told me to put anyone down who would be paying money directly to Disney.

So, if someone is just giving you cash to help pay for it, his/her name wouldn't have to go on it. But, if he or she will be contacting Disney directly to pay, then his/her name should go on the contract.

I'm not sure if that's the usual way, but that's what we were told!

HTH! :thumbsup2

We were told that it didn't make any difference if they were paying or not.... they'll take money from anyone :rotfl:

That being siad, we did put them down because that way they can get information directly from Disney. Otherwise, they'd have to go through me. But by being on the contract if they have a question, they could call Disney direct.

I was told it's totally my choice. For me, it just felt "right" putting it on since they're paying for the majority of the wedding.

HTH :goodvibes

My dad is paying for the wedding, but I didn't have him sign the contract. I put him and my step-mom as people who can be in contact with Disney and make changes, but not responsible for payment. As Joanna said they'll take money from anyone! :rotfl:

I guess I felt that if GOD FORBID anything happened and the wedding had to be called off less than 30 days before the wedding, I didn't want my dad to be legally responsible for paying Disney that outragous sum of money (what's it - like 90% of the total cost?). If he signs it, (or any family member) they're responsible.

Just my two cents - do what feels best for you! :goodvibes
