hi all
i know this has been asked a while ago, but i honestly cant find the thread!!
i was gonna do the letters but wanted to check how they work, as hoping to take some from my friend as her dh has just been made redundant, and things are tight & moods are low, and i thought that the kids having a letter would be a lil bright spot.....

so - how does it work??? we take the letters, then we collect some special envelopes yes?? are these at city hall?? and then, we put the childs name & address on the envelope and then post it in santas village?? is that how it works? and then a letter gets sent to the child - before xmas???

just wanted to get all the info right so my friend can get her kids to write a letter (well, she will have to help her youngest lol).....

also - in case anyone reading this might know - can u get small disney princess plush dolls at dlrp?? as i thought i might get a lil somethin for her kids 'from santa' and i know her dd is into the princesses..... dont want to spend loads, *** i know how id feel if sum1 bought sumthin expensive for my kids if we had money probs, but just somethin nice.... now, also, if i wanted to post from dlrp - is there a post office or am i best just posting them from home (neither child wud think to look at the post mark anyhow i think!)

thanks all, and im sure i will have more questions later - but more my trip orientated and i start final planning!!:yay: :woohoo: :cool1:

Sorry I don't know about the letters but I don't think they do the plush princesses at dlrp - ebay or the Disney Store here is your best bet.

You might find something Princessy and suitable in the big store on the left hand side of Main St Usa (same side as Caseys Corner) - although I haven't seen any Princess plushes, there is lots of other Princess stuff.

Hi, they definately had princess plush dolls in WDW this summer, so I would imagine they would do them in DLP. I haven't seen them myself there tho. With the letter, from what I can gather, you put them into an envelope there with the childs name and address on, and post it. A letter will then be sent to them by Santa before xmas!

I'm hoping that the letter A) comes in English and B) doesn't mentionanything like thank you for visiting me in DLRP as I'm bringing letters with me for friends children too.

There are Minnie Mouse plush toys dressed as Cinderella/Belle etc

thanks all!!

tricky - good point - i hope it doesnt say that either!!! will have to get a story sorted just in case then lol

glad to hear there is alot of princess stuff then - never looked before, as having 2 boys its not an area i get to see..... actually, its more like, i dont go there, as ds1 very much wants disney princess stuff so i try n distract him!!:rotfl: minnie dressed as a princess might be nice - and maybe a nice mickey for my friends ds.... i lvoe shopping and this is another good reason to do more!!!

i might have a try at emailing someone at dlrp about the xmas letter - just to see if its a standard letter.... will let u know if i hear back!

The plushes you are talking about were £18-£20 I think?????

The plushes are expensive as someone has said. But there are loads of less expensive Princess bits. They do some lovely Princess jewellery sets from about E5 upwards. You really won't have a problem finding something to suit any budget.

Also, can I just say what a lovely, thoughtful friend you are :goodvibes :lovestruc
