Does anyone know how DCL figures the cost of the upgrade at port? I know it is based on availability. We're currently booked in 11B but I'm really wanting cat 5 (or higher). I'm just wondering a price range so I can work it in to our budget.

Please realize that there are only 2 Royal suites per ship, and are usually never empty. YOu should check your cruise to see if it is available before you go. Also realize if you are on one of the new ships, that your other party members won't have access to the concierge floors.
