Awesome! Glad your Dopey simulation went well!! Here's a newbie question I figured you'll have the quick answer to--I always run with headphones in (well one in, one out) but I notice that no one ever has them on in their character pictures and it got me thinking....are they not allowed? Or am I really just in the minority and the only one who needs them for running? Thoughts?

When I ran the half 2 years ago, music/headphones were allowed. There are some spots on the course where music is playing, so I took the headphones out for that. The races are much more "social" so to speak, than traditional races, so maybe just a lot of people don't like to wear their headphones at Disney races?!

They are allowed but discouraged. I normally wear headphones while running as well but not during Disney races. There is a lot of on course entertainment to keep your mind busy.

Well it looks like its not going to be as warm as I had hoped. That's okay though it is better than the negative wind chills here in Wisconsin.

Only a few days now! I am beyond excited and can't wait to run 48.6 miles! (many would think I am crazy for wanting to do that)

Wait... We are how close to Marathon Weekend?!?!

So... I leave for WDW in 36 days. I am super excited yet super nervous. I know I have done this before and my training has been relatively on track I just feel like I am unprepared. I think I am even more prepared than I was last year at this point but still am worried. I am probably just paranoid for no reason.

Thanksgiving went well. Our family gets together at my Uncle's for that. I also was hunting (deer) last week up in northern Wisconsin. Christmas is quickly approaching. Here is a video of my display this year...

I am winding down the school year as well. Only about three weeks left. Another scary thought as I could have some big changes ahead in terms of school.

Plans of course have changed for the Disney trip several times already. We will probably only keep one of those ADRs on the last day.

My Dopey simulation training runs are scheduled for Dec. 14th-17th. If that goes well I think I will feel a lot more comfortable.
