Let's track the EB PC cruise here

Ours sons really miss hanging out with your DS!

How long did you wait for the Aly and AJ show? We saw that you were first in line for the late show while we were exiting the early show.

The boys had a great time with your son playing the Desperate Shipmates game even though it was "adults only". They actually solved it! However, when they weren't allowed in the theater for the final show, my DS just sat outside the door and cried! Why put an "adult only" game on the cabin tv's for kids to watch if they aren't allowed to play along. At least they got a free flashlight out of it once we escorted them into the final showing of Desperate Shipmates. They ended up talking to castmember David quite a while about it at Castaway Cay about his role in the show.

Everytime we came across your son and our boys at Deck 6, they were just sitting there peacefully at the little table playing their Nintendo DS's. However, we did ask the boys not to hang out on Deck 6 midship anymore after we saw other boys behaving poorly in the same spot. The other kids would jump into the glass as elevators passed by or were just plain loud and obnoxious. As I said before, it didn't distract from our overall enjoyment, but I think with 7 sea days we just seemed to see a lot more of it than we had on prior cruises.

DS also misses them a lot - he had such a great time with them. They were so excited about that Desperate shipmates weren't they. That was too cute. They were all hugging that last night outside our room and they kept saying they didn't want to leave. He keeps asking if we could go to Colorado one day so that he can see them or meet up on another cruise or at Disney. I didn't get a chance to tell you and June but we thoroughly enjoyed having your boys around and I had a lot of fun with the them doing Roger's scavenger hunt, they actually figured out a lot of the clues

DS said that one time they were sitting there and that a couple of the tween girls came by all rude telling them they had to get up and leave because they wanted to sit there. When the boys told them no one of the girls went and got their father who made them move. I wish I had known about that at the time it happened

We waited about 1 hour before the doors opened to the Aly and AJ show. We got there at 7pm. I just wanted to avoid the rush into the theater but that never happened because they were checking for the hand stamp from the early show.

It didn't distract us from having a great cruise either. and it was minor things that only happened a couple of times

Good grief! No wonder some of the kids on the cruise behaved so horribly!:sad2: We had nick names for some of them who we saw regularly.

Wow.. just wow. *sigh*
I don't even understand how the father could justify that in his mind... what, his kids are better than some other kid and therefore should get to sit whereever they want even if another kid is already there? The entitlement issues those girls will have when they grow up- just like their father. *sigh*

For those of you that can't see it...It will be int he hi-res webcam soon.

Thank you for actually posting a picture! :) Reading through pages of "there she is" but no pictures was killing me. :scared:

OK wish me luck I am out the door and I hope to talk to you all again in 20 Min. Andrew please stall the ship so I can make it home in time to see you go threw the locks!

So YOU are the reason it stormed so long? ;) We were on our way to dinner when we were entering the first lock and I took DD to a fellow DISer's aft stateroom so that she could watch the locks close behind us. This happened about 5:50. Can't believe that you guys stuck around root us on all that time. :) Of course, I know that I have been glued to the computer watching the webcams all day in 2005. LOL! That's why we were onboard this time.

You looking at the right cam or just wishful thinking ? :)

We watched it move in. There was a lot of lightening. It was like someone erased everything before our eyes. You couldn't see a thing off the ship at some points. Here is a shot of it moving in. The rain was coming towards us over the water.

That's one big container ship!!! Imagine each one of those small boxes is a tractor trailer!!!! (You can fit multiple households of furniture in just one!)

Here one of them is earlier in the day. It was loaded mainly with 40' containers.

There's a tug all the way at the front, but the ship I saw was not a tug. Hard to see it now with the water dropped

It could have been one of the rowboats that are used to hook up the electric mules to the ship. They can't send those guys out with the lightening either.

Elizabeth was thrilled with the shirt too!! She is a Senior this year so I guess it wasn't to childish for her. She loved that everyone signed the back and was so excited she wore it home. What a great souvenir.

My dd is 17, also. :) Maybe the older teens understand what is truely childish and what is just fun. ;)
Samantha said that she signed your dd's shirt. :)

Just to clarify- I don't think I used the word childish and not sure where that came from..... I simply said Ruby said others also weren't "impressed" with the shirt.... after the rumor had gone around that they were getting little backpacks with "teen stack" on them.

But apparently I only allowed Ruby to go to the stack for the short time AFTER everyone had already done signatures. Ohwell, her tough luck- her fault for getting grounded in the first place!

Ps. those are great pictures Lisa!

And..... where is the ship now? I assume it made it safely to PC and is getting ready for dry dock?

Great pictures! We must have been standing right next to each other on the front of Deck 10 as I have nearly the same picture (see second picture below)!! That storm was incredible. I hope someone captured some of the lightning. Here's a time sequence of the storm and having to wait on the left hand side behind that large freighter while ships went through the right side. :confused3

beautiful photos of the final locks experience!

Christopher, I believe that we were down on deck 4 by then...but I can't swear to it. I was up in front next to Kristina for the 2 set of locks. Mike stayed out on deck until we got through Gutan then had dinner at Topsider's. It was wonderful how the rain and clouds all through the cruise cooled things down quite a bit so that it wasn't unbearably hot.

Same thing happened at Lumiere's for lunch on the port day where everyone came back at the same time because the ship left so early (I'm doing a mind blank on which one). Everyone decided to have lunch there all at once, so they were pullinf servers from wherever they could. They really did a great job handling the influx.

It was most likely Acapulco. And it was our excursion that caused the Magic to leave later than scheduled!

LOL! So you were the group Christian told needed to be sure to book a DCL excursion so they knew where you were? ;) I forgot which day it was for the backlog but the servers were talking about it since they were being pulled from PC to help out in Lumiere's.
