Hey Y'all,

I will be at DL for one day next week and looking for food options.
I was thinking Plaza fried chicken since I haven't tried it yet. If you only had a day, what would you eat?

For one day, we would...

Breakfast: Plaza Inn Character Breakfast
Lunch: Red Wagon Corn Dog
Dinner: Soup Bread Bowls at Pacific Wharf/Royal St Veranda (?)
Dessert: Matterhorn Macaroons at Jolly Holiday

We haven't eaten at most places, however, and are looking forward to trying out some new things on our June trip (French Market, Red Rose Tavern, fried chicken at Plaza Inn).

So. Many. Options.... I’m not a huge breakfast eater, but would go with beignets and/or breakfast burrito at Jazz Kitchen Express in DTD.

Lunch/Dinner-bread bowl, check out Lunar New Year offerings(???), Flo’s has yummy options, EOS in DTD, Jolly Holiday. Just depends on your preference

Treats: Jolly Holiday, Ghirardelli, Cozy cone has dipped soft serve which my kids love

Good luck!

We're going in March and cannot wait for fried chicken from Plaza Inn and beignets from the Jazz Kitchen Express in DTD.

Baked potato soup at Carnation Cafe is amazing! I’m still amazed I had it for the first time ever in December given the amount of times I’ve visited DL!
I also have my snack favorites:beignets (I think there’s a Mardi Gras one now), churros(unless it’s only during the Holidays, there’s a Star Wars version in Tomorrowland)

I think of all the food in the parks I enjoy Rancho Del Zocalo the most. It's pretty great Mexican food for an amusement park and not too expensive. I also like the garden tomato flatbread at Red Rose Tavern. If the food and wine festival was going on I would vote for that.

The one must-do meal for my group is Pacific Wharf Cafe. On this last trip we were there during Festival of Holidays and all of our meals were reserved for things we wanted to try from the food booths, and we found it really weird to go the whole trip without bread bowls. The only other place we go out of our way for is Cafe Orleans, but only if we have a long park day and we want a sit-down meal.

Our first trip we made a point to try a lot of the crowd favorites such as the fried chicken, corn dogs, Bengal BBQ skewers, and lobster nachos, and most were underwhelming to be honest. All were perfectly fine, but just fine, and looking back I realize that we've never gotten those items again.

Oh...that's a tough one! Just one day...here are some of my favorites...
Breakfast: Mickey Mouse Beignets from the Mint Julep Bar
Lunch: Gumbo and Pomme Frites from Cafe Orleans
Snack: Oswald Sundae from Clarabelle's
Dinner: Fried Chicken from the Plaza Inn
Dessert: Raspberry Rose Mickey Macaron from Jolly Holiday

No question, The Plaza Inn's Chicken.
It's not just the wonderful chicken, it's the location, atmosphere and calmness of the place.

Pomme frites. Hands down. I pair it with the small salad and it is perfect.

The seasonal soup right now at the Pacific Warf is baked potato. DD swore it was the same as the one she eats at Carnation Cafe. I can’t affirm or deny this.

I’m also a huge fan of the sundaes at Ghiradelli.
