We are going the week after Thanksgiving (11-25-12/2)

What's the bug situation like in Florida at this time of year? One mosquito buzzing around can keep me awake all night!

FW takes measures to keep skeeters and friends reasonable as far as I am concerned, however, this is Fl. and we are invading their space so being prepared is recommended.

The mosquito truck makes its rounds every morning, so they really keep that problem down. They still exist, but not in the numbers you would expect around FW, a reclaimed cypress swamp. In November, the deer flies should not be too bad, but I have encountered a few and the bites are painful. You should be sure to bring a good insect repellant, one with DEET is preferred unless you have young children.

I had no idea that Disney sprayed for mosquitoes, that's awesome. We will bring repellant.

"Bugs" are just one of the factors influencing the tent/pop-up decision.
