I have 7 different kinds in my pantry. We love cereal in this house.

My kids have a small bowl every night for their late snack. But I have been known to eat it for lunch or dinner.

Unlike Jerry Seinfeld, I have never ordered cereal in a restaurant but I do agree with him that it is hard to get the right cereal to milk ratio. I always end up with more milk.

Anyone else love cereal?

i have a horrible sense of humor today....Should i?????:confused3

Why not--

As long as it has breast milk in it!!! (sorry, i had to...):rotfl:;)

I have actually gone days at a time with different cereals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The classics are always good: Cheerios, Mini-Wheats, etc. However, I'm a sucker for good old fashioned kids' cereals: Golden Grahams, Capn' Crunch (Crunch-berries!), etc.

All-time favorites, though? The Monster cereals. During Halloween I stock up on Frankenberry, since I can only find Count Chocula during the rest of the year.

Cereal junkies unite!

Love Crunch-Berries! When I was a kid I always ate the yellow cereal first and left the berries for last (so they were nice and soggy) this was of course when there were only red berries and not green and purple! Did anyone else ever do that, or was it just me and my brother?:rotfl:

I love the Peanut Butter Captain Crunch but it shreds the roof of your mouth!

I have since found an organic version called Bumpers. They are little balls so they taste like CC but without the oral damage!

I'm also a big fan of the Christmas Crunch!

I like cereal ok, but it is a waste of calories and noting but empty carbs and if I eat it I am hungry 2 hours later and I have the shakes. If I do eat it for breakfast I have to have a protein to follow it. I don't eat it for a snack, just doesn't cut it as snack food for me, and NEVER have I eaten it for anything but breakfast, sorry but that is just not for me.

I do know that others love it, I just don't find it appealing at all really.

I take it back, I did eat it when I was a kid, the pp talking about captian crunch shredding the roof of your mouth brought back all the memories or Saturday morning and about 3 yes 3 bowls of Captain Crunch cereal and a mouth so sore that I couldn't eat afterwards. lol

Hello, my name is Lisa and I am a cereal addict. I currently have 12 boxes of cereal in my pantry. All of them opened and in tupperware containers ready to be poured. I am known to eat up to 5 bowls of cereal a day and nothing else.

My DH is currently deployed to Afghanistan which means I do NOT have to make a big dinner every night for just myself and DD8. Therefore, we usually eat cereal 3 nights a week. I am turning her into a little addict also.;)

My favorites are corn pops, shredded wheat and honey-nut cheerios.

mmmmmm, Cinnamon Toast Crunch! I always say I buy it for the kids but I'm the one that eats most of it!;)

Frosted Mini-Wheats, Corn Chex, Golden Grahams and HoneyComb are the cereals in rotation for me these days.

When I was a kid I was addicted to Boo-Berry. I tried some again a few years ago and Gawd was it disgusting. The squirrels and birds in the back yard had no problem with it though.

You know, for the life of me, I cannot find Boo-Berry this Halloween. They added the Boo-Berry marshmallows to the Frankenberry this year, but I hope they didn't get rid of Boo-Berry altogether.

My family loves cereal, during the week, it's a healthy cereal and on the weekends, we can do junky cereals. My DH is a cereal junky and we sadly have to hide boxes of the cereals he loves or he can literally eat a whole box in a day.

My fav: Cinnamon Life with bananas
DH's fav: Peanut butter Captain Crunch (DD has a peanut allergy, so we only have it when she's away for the week!)
DS's fav: Apple Jacks
DD1's fav: Kellogg's Raisin Bran (don't laugh, it's in our junky category, do you know how much sugar is in it?!)
DD2's fav: Anything chocolate!

Our family's favorite as a whole is Cinnamon Toast Crunch~

Now I'm craving a bowl of cereal :goodvibes

They're still around ~ I was bad and bought all the flavors for my grands. :)
They don't eat a lot of sugar cereal, but Nana thought what the heck, it is cute for Halloween. BTW I didn't catch any flack ;). I'm a Cherrios gal myself - all flavors! :goodvibes

I find Boo Berry at Target every year, just saw it the other day.

I love cereal but mostly just for a snack. I will occassionaly eat it as a quick breakfast. Right now we have 6 different kinds in our cupboard- Crispix, cherrios, chocolate cherrios, cocoa pebbles, shredded wheat, and corn flakes.

I'll have to check to other Target near me. I picked up my Frankenberry stash for the year at one Target, but I didn't see the Boo Berry. Looks like that will be my after-work mission! :thumbsup2

Currently in the cupboard:

Boo Berry
Frankenberry
Honey Nut Cheerios
Lucky Charms
Cinnamon Toast Crunch
Cap N Crunch Cozmic Crunch - turns the milk green
Reese's Peanut Butter Puffs

We are a house of cereal junkies! ;)

I love love LOVE cereal! I grew up on Lucky Charms. Now that I'm diabetic I have to be pretty careful with it. But I can eat a cup of Frosted Mini Wheats or Wheat Chex without my blood sugar going comepletely crazy.Prollly because they're high in fiber. I can't eat much of the low fiber cereals, like corn flakes, corn pops, rice krispies, etc.
