Let's talk about Boma

I am the pickest along side my son in law.. I did not like it. I could not find one thing I liked. ...The food is odd. I like plain mashed potatoes and those are not plain. Not enough reg type veggies and the salads were not good as well.... Then on the other end of plain foods on the grounds Trails end was beyond plain just boring no taste. But give us Ohanas, 50's Prime, Whispering Canyon, and we'll be there.

Thanks I needed that! Thank you so much for posting your experience; I've been struggling on whether to book this restaurant or not because it appears my relatives have similar tastes as you describe above. I'm not gonna chance it - they'll disown me! and be miserable!

Thanks so much for sharing your experience... that's what I was afraid of but just wasn't hearing ANYWHERE on these boards. (I decided we'd book for the last night and "look" the first night to see if we'd be able to keep the ressie; afte your post, I'm thinking... NOT!)

we ate dinner at Boma last Nov, I eat anywhere and anything and I am not in a hurry to go back, it wasnt bad, it just wasnt memorable, nothing made me say WOW, glad we ate here. I prefer prime time any day! JMHO:woohoo:

We stayed at the AK in November, 2004 and ate at Boma twice, for dinner and breakfast. The food was great at breakfast but wasn't worth the high cost.

But, we loved dinner. My younger daughter is quite picky so I was a little worried. But all 4 of us enjoyed it. We are returning for our next trip this year. And, might try Jiko as well!
