yea but that's cause of the whole Disney record label thing, their music is the same music that is written for Hannah Montana and HSM. The JB are not aiming for the younger fan base themselves, Disney is b.c. all Disney is worried about is the money.

i wasen't going to say their not in it for the money, but i think it's only a teensy part of why they do it. They do truly love what they do, which is why they tour so much, cause they love to see the fans. Disney usually only tours their ppl once a yr and JB tours about 2 or 3x a yr so they truly have to want to do it to be that dedicated. And yea obv. their not going to tell Disney no cause that could also risk in them losing their record contract.

they do play/write all their own songs, except for like one or 2 off the first album which Disney had no hand in. And then of course they dnt write like "Kids of The Future" and those types of songs. And why leave a record label if your happy with it.

their not aiming for the younger fans, but they dnt care if the younger fans exist. It dosen't rly matter to them just so long as they get to do what they love.

yea but thats not who they are, so they wouldn't write about anything that Disney wouldn't approve. They write about wat goes on in their lives and the life of a teenage boy basically consits or girls and relationships which is why most of their songs are that way.

Just butting in here with a bit of OT-ness, but IMO adding 'angst' to their music wouldn't really make it better. (Just going on what people here are saying- I'm not actually all that familiar with their songs.) There are plenty of bands whose thing is 'all angst, all the time' and their music style isn't much different from JB in principle- just content. If you take two bands and all their music and their styles can be broadly grouped as EverythingIsSuperGreat!! vs. MyLifeSucksEndItAll, if there's really nothing deeper to the songs, they can't really said to be very different, I think. If that makes sense.

Everyone has there own opinion to there own type of music. Jonas brothers are in my "music book" just like all other type of music.

I think it should just be let go that if people dislike a band let it go. But than people that dislike things don't rub it in peoples face either.

Thats like some hating apples. Do they than rub oranges in the other person face and rant how much they hate apples. No they let it go.
