One of my favorite threads of all time was last years Target Christmas clearance thread. I remember someone finding plug ins that were ringing up
.59 in the regular plug in section, they posted it here--and I stocked up on them!!
I went this morning and it was a bit of a madhouse. I only have 1 Target w/in 2 hours of me, so everyone goes there. Maybe in a few days we can start posting some "hidden" clearance deals we find to help each other??

I bought several packages of coffees. 12 oz packages for about $3.25 each. Great flavors, cinnamon, chocolate. Also, wash clothes for christmas, but not all of them are red and green, $1.99. Clorox wipes, 3 pack, half price at $2.99. I had fun!

This is probably going to sound crazy dorky, but hey, who cares! I went this morning and bought some of those cafeteria style trays -- like tv trays or from the school lunch room? They were originally $3.99, marked down to like $2.68 and they rang at up 50% off that -- $1.34! I think it will be fun one night to watch Napolean Dynamite and have a meatloaf dinner off those trays!

I also bought a tree topper I have had my eye on all season, but refused to pay full price for. I could not hold out for the 75% off, but I got it half off.

I got Palmolive, clorox wipes and glad bags. There was a ton of softsoap in holiday wrapping, but they wouldn't give it to me at 50% off. I also tried to get a cake holder (plastic) that had christmas trees on the wrapping, but they wouldn't discount it either. I was a bit disappointed

You guys are lucky!!! I got the LAST pack of Clorox wipes that was misplaced and put in the wrong area........Didn't see any Glad bags/dish soap/food deals anywhere!! I was there at 9:00. Guess next year I'll be there at 7 when they open!

got the Clorox wipes 3 pack, and Glade candles (apple cinnamon), and some stocking stuffers. I was hoping the Holiday Thomas Train pack was 1/2 off but it wasn't. I did get some of the Thomas Train stocking stuffers though!! I always stock up on boxes, tissue paper and stocking stuffers.

I went with the goal of finding bows which I got and ziplocs and cleaning stuff which I could not find anywhere. I figure on hitting the Target closer to home tonight after DH gets home and see if I find anything. Worth a try.

I also got several packages of cookies and gingerbread graham crackers for half off. My kids love those!

Got some Post holiday cereal (like fruity pebbles) for $1.00, would be really good if I had a coupon for it!

I had the opposite problem here today. Many 50% off signs were throughout the Christmas section, but nothing was scanning properly. We had Christmas tins of nuts, Hickory Farms Sausages, Chocolate Pretzels, and more all from the supposed 50% off section, but it all rang 15-30%. If anyone wants it, the items are now near a scanner in electronics in Lexington, KY.

We walked out.

I got some things such as LPS 3 packs for 50% off (2.50!) and hershey's chocolate bells. But I wanted these plastic bins that were red & green and with the other 'Xmas' plastic storage bins but were not ringing up 50% so I will wait until later this week.

I was at Tar-jay at 6:55am waiting in the freezing cold (31 degrees!) with everyone else. I got:
  • (2) 4 1/2 foot clear light Christmas trees in the decorative pots for $40 (regular $80) - these will look great next to my front door!
  • (1) 6 foot spiral tree with clear lights for $10 (regular $20)
  • Several Christmas hand towels sets for $1 (regular $2) - Christmas gifts for coworkers for next year!
  • (2) packages of photo Christmas cards for next year for $3 (regular $6)
  • (2) stockings for $5 (regular $10)
  • Several Christmas ornaments for .50 - $1 (regular $1 - $2) - Christmas gifts for coworkers for next year!
  • (2) containers of the Christmas Clorox wipes for $3 (regular $6)
  • An ornament box that wasn't 1/2, but was reduced from it's orginal price
  • (1) cute six-pack of wrapping paper for $8 (regular $16)
  • (2) flameless candles for $8 (regular $16)

I thought I did pretty good. None of it is stuff I won't use or need. I like to get my coworker gifts after C'mas because there are so many to buy for. It can get expensive.

While I was picking up gift boxes and bows, dh found an awesome Meguiar's holiday gift set -- it's a really nice tote with wash, wax, sponges, microfiber cloth, interior detail spray, and tire cleaner -- for 50% off -- $14.99! If you use Megiuar's, you know how expensive that stuff is individually! This is an amazing deal.

I'm excited 'cuz we bought it specifically to use on my new Vue -- I love anything that keeps my baby shiny and pretty! ;)

I saw tons of people walking out with arm loads of the Meguiar's gift sets - it must be great stuff!

Those used to last until 90% off day at my stores. It was great getting them for 2 and 3 bucks!

Ooohhh.....guess I'll be checking back when the stuff goes 75% and 90% off to see if they have any left! :thumbsup2

Its so hard to wait for it to ge down to 75% to 90 :wizard: . last year after new years I got tons of plastic bowls, cups, plates...i used them all summer long then tossed them..they we only 10 cents each..60 cents for bowls

This after I went to Target & bought 4 of the holiday dresses that were 22.99 at 75% already!!! 5.74 each!!! :) :) :) :) DD will be set for the next couple years with beautiful dresses.

I bought dd some stretch pants- for $1.22!!!!! Come on she is 9 years old. So to find some pants that she can relax and dog walk in I was a sport and bought her 12 pants- 6 in a size she can wear now- and 6 in the next size up! great basic and solid cotton basic colors!

Got 2 of these quilts for $19.99 each. They were in the clearance aisle, so I took them up to the cashier and asked her to scan them. I couldn't believe it when she told me the were less than $20 each, the are so warm and cozy and made of really good quality:

When I got home and looked it up online I am thinking it must have scanned wrong. I can't imagine it went from $90 to $20, but then again, I have found some amazing deals at Target. There is a reason its my favorite store!

When does it go from 50 to 75%?? I was there tonight and didn't get anything except for some clothes on markdown. Got a great pair of brown pants for work, fit perfectly and were normally 30 bucks, for 5 dollars. I'm waiting for the 75% for the Christmas stuff and hoping lights are left
