Let's Play "The Next Poster"...Disneyland style! Part 2

False. Too "kiddie" for me TNP has an autotopia drivers license in their wallet

False. I have one in my memory box though. I should really get another for my wallet!

TNP has a ride they strongly dislike? (Hate seemed too strong ha)

True. The swinging gondolas on Mickey's Wheel of Death.

The next poster has a ride that they would skip going to DL if it was closed.

false......would never skip a trip for anything

tnp has a restaurant they haven't tried that they would like to (which one)

TNP has a ride they've always wanted to go on, but never quite worked up the nerve. What ride is it?

True. Tower of Terror.

The next poster doesn't care if they ride the rides. They go to DL for the ambiance.

Sorta true. I heard it was in the castle, but where, I don't know

TNP likes the Mint Juleps

It is right in the middle of the walkway just after you enter the castle from Main Street USA heading towards Fantasyland. Look down next time right after you come off the drawbridge and you should spot it.

False, while the ambiance is great I would have to ride the rides. To do without Pirates would be unthinkable.

TNP knows why Main Street USA is not the same distance apart at the entrance to the park as it is at the hub by the castle. Why?

True. Forced perspective makes the castle appear larger and Main street longer.

The next poster has been escorted behind the Main street buildings. This happen to us one time because of a crowd problem. We went behind the buildings from Jolly Holiday into DTD.

Well yes, that is sorta why but here is the full spectrum for those that don't understand the concept. Main Street USA is wider at the entrance of the park than it is at the castle end of the park. It was done that way to create an optical illusion. When entering the park it makes it look shorter and not as far of a walk to get back to the castle and makes the castle look larger than it actually is. But when your in the park and your standing there at the hub thinking about leaving it creates the optical illusion that the exit is further away than it actually is. Walt designed it that way so you would not want to walk all that way to leave the park and you would stay in the park longer. And what happens when you stay in the park longer......you spend more money. :thumbsup2

False

TNP remembers the old Chicken of the Sea restaurant.

No, I don't believe that I do.

The next poster enjoys a nice morning jog through DTD.

Jog. Ha. No. A nice morning stroll in DTD is a great way to start the day though.

The next poster has participated in one of the Disney Marathons.

Only if there is one for either talking or walking, then maybe. Otherwise no I have not.

The next poster misses the normal HM during holiday time.

false....I like the holiday change

tnp has ridden Space Mt in it's Ghost Galaxy decorations

True.

The next poster has ridden on the top of the Omnibus just to get a different perspective of the decorations.

No I have not.

The next poster hates hmh with a passion. I know I do, and really wish it would go to WDW and stay there.
