going the weekend between Christmas and New Years. Wednesday-Saturday (fly in on Tuesday and out on Sunday). We were planning Disney on wed, Thursday, Saturday and lego land on Friday.

But looking at last years crowds maybe we are better off to do lego land first since last year the Friday was less crowded. Thoughts??

I'd do 4 days at Disney. ;)

The 26th and 27th (Rose Bowl teams, bands, cheer groups, fans, families descends), then 31st are the worst of the week. Try the 28-30.

Oh so maybe we should do lego land our first day- the 27th and then Disney the 28,29, and 30th.

All of those days will be brutally crowded. The most crowded days of the year.
Yes I'm aware but last year the Friday and Saturday actually scored a 6 and 7 on the crowd calendar compared to the Monday-Thursday all being 10's. They didn't hit capacity thought until January 4th when the AP became unblocked. I'm just trying to be a bit strategic.. but very prepared for large crowds.

Last year we also had some horrible weather during that AP blockout. NYE was not normal crazy crowded because it rained most of the day. I would expect it to be busier this year then last year if we don't have the same kind of storms come through.

Unless the weather is bad, every single day will be a 10 by 12pm. I went on the 25th through the 27th in 2014 and we will never go again during that time. There is no way to plan around the crowds on those days. They are overwhelming.

Do Legoland first. Finish with Disney. If you go in with the realistic expectation that the crowds could be "10s", are willing to be flexible, and decide to just enjoy what you can and have a good time, then you will be fine.
