Let's Meet in the Dump Shop SciFi Breakfast

Rosie, good luck for your surgery!! And hopefully this and some warmer weather will bring you back!! If you have any problems with the DIS, just post them here and we will do our best to help you out!!!

:flower1:It has been so long since I have been on the Dis that I did not know there was a new format...came today to catch up and first post I see is Rosie is having surgery. Will try to go back and find what is going on...if anyone sees this and can answer, please do? Thanks...I am having surgery on Friday and will not be able to type - hope I can find our about Rosie before then.

Rosie, if you see this wishing you the best and tucking you in prayer...my mother's friend always told me, "Old age ain't for sissies!"... Me thinks she was right!! Take gentle care. Miss you!

Found the post about cataract surgery - do you have a date yet, Rosie? Keep us posted...easy for me to say since I am never on the Dis anymore. ;)

My surgery is is Friday, March 6 - rotator cuff repair and I am pretty scared. Will not be able to type for awhile...except one finger left hand and that could be pretty weird but am going to try to catch up with threads (if I can read on pain meds) ...oh, and learn this new Dis format...where is everything anyway!! :fish:

All the best for your surgery!!

The new format needs some time to get used to, but it has some neat features as well! If you are looking for your subscribed threads that used to be listed under User CP, then go to "Watched Threads" (link at the top left corner). If a thread has new updates, it is listed there and it is bold. At the bottom of the "Watched Thread" list there is a button for "Show All Watched Threads" - that will show you all of your subscriptions! Hope this helps to get started! :goodvibes

Rosie is BACK!!!!!!!!!

Great to hear from you.
All the best for your upcoming surgery and take your time to catch your breath before coming back. You will really like the new DIS once you have figured it all out.

Thank you so much - I really appreciate the good wishes. :flower3:

Oh,my...your directions are excellent...but it may take awhile for my drugged brain to figure it all out. I have been on pain meds since the fall (day after Christmas) so my brain is pretty much semi-fried about now.:sad2::bored:
