I don't know what place I'm in, but I'm sure I'm high up there. Hula came into the room after I started the quest, and I started talking to her, so I was at almost four minutes when I started the quest. That puts me way behind.

It really is a waste to bother with the quests. They need to put in more prizes or just give everyone a prize for completing it like they do for the other quests.

I'd love it if they just gave everyone a "regular" prize for completing the quest. To keep it interesting, maybe 1 in 50 or 1 in 100 quest completers could randomly receive a "better" prize.

This wouldn't stop people from muling through, to get more chances; but at least it wouldn't reward mulers from going through to get better times.

Well, after the DC monster got me twice during the quest, I finally finished with 543 .

Aww man I can't join... I did the one the other day and got 354th and did one a few weeks back and 263rd.

Sigh- well I can still agree with BE- it would be nice to have something for completing it no matter where you finish- I usually don't do them because I don't plan on doing them over with mules and there is almost no way you can get the times some people get on those things without having answers-

I would love to join but I don't qualify for last night quest:

No dc, a pirate game with 15 second rounds, good guessing on the multiple choice and little luck seeing the typed answers around me. I actually even won a prize with my one time through! There is hope!

You know those host quests are ridiculous! I thought for sure I got a prize this time. I thought this quest was on the easy side. I finished at just over 9 minutes. I was # 223!! Oh well. I guess I should just play for "fun".

As for a few other comments on the thread, I think that vmk HAS started to scatter prizes throughout the placing which is terrific! It is a step against just giving the fastest times the best prizes. I, for one, appreciate that!

Now idea how to finish a pirates game in 9 seconds. Maybe that is my next vmk goal.

Until then, I do the quests for the fun of them - and the hope of a chance (sort of what disney is all about). This one was not a long commitment to complete and was fun. Yay!

Let's keep thread on track - happy, upbeat proud 400+ members (and 300 honorable mentions). Anyone else proud enough to join?

Maybe we will do a prize... That would be fun! I will think about that.

Since most of the quests have a very low score needed for pirates, just play a game of you against 2 pirates, hit them once or twice and then let them sink you quick. Repeat. Repeat. You will have the low score needed and be done very quickly.

Despite my four minutes I took talking to Hula before starting the quest, I came in 384. So I guess I'm not in the club.

I wonder where I would have placed had I started sooner.

Well my best ever showing was 278 and that I thought I did really fast. Could not have been faster. But I average around 350 to 375. How do they get so good scores. Could someone please tell us.
