Let's Hazard Some Guesses

How crowded do will Disneyland / California Adventure be on November 10th, 2016?

  • Empty. Like a zombie movie before the zombie swarm crawls in.

  • Fairly crowded. If small crowds are important to you, you might want to consider a different day.

  • Ouch, dude. Technically, there will be more space occupied by bodies than not.

It will be crowded that day. And the next day and the next and the next. Its always crowded.

I understand what your saying but if someone is flexible enough and does a ton of research, they can find days that have very light crowds. There aren't nearly as many as there used to be but it does happen.
In our case I did all that research and came up with a set of dates that really were super light. The park was less crowded than I'd seen in years and remained that way during our entire stay. (Credit goes to "Is it packed" but I used many other sources as well).

Guys, thank you all so much for all of your input! I had no idea that the 10th was the first day for Holiday, nor did I realize that a lot of kids got Veterans day (I never did! Not Fair!).

As such, I think I'm gonna go with everyone who's recommending I go on the 9th instead of the 10th. The whole point of me taking off a day from work for Disneyland is to avoid the crowds, so losing a PTO day for an averagely-crowded trip would be self-defeating for me.

Thanks again, so much! Oh, and sorry about posting to the wrong board!

Sounds like a good plan, and you might even get lucky with some soft holiday openings. Enjoy!
