I hope the scale thinks the same thing. Good News! I put a shirt on today that has been a little tight across the front and it fits better already! YEA!:cheer2:

I guess 5lbs really makes a difference in how your clothes fit. I am so proud of the Fab 4! Everyone is really working hard to meet our goals. It seems this competition is what we all needed to jump start our weight loss! You go girls!!!! Everyone keep up the good work!
 
This is the deal, I have had so much water I could float a boat, eaten so much chicken I cluck when I walk, had so much V8 I am straight as a ruler had so many vegetables I have cauliflower ears and today I AM HUNGRY.

It wasn't bad. It wasn't the best I've ever had either. I did lose though, but not enough to be "the biggest loser". Well not in the amount of weight lost anyway. Ready for it? A whopping 1.25 lbs. I think I'm going to enlist the slug as my official weight loss mascot. Anyone else want to join the slug club?

My workouts went well thought. About 6 hours worth of exercise this week. You would think I would lose more.:confused3

Congrats going out to Mo today for 2 reasons! First and foremost, Mo had an incredible weight loss today.... She lost the 160lb albatross that was hanging over her! HAPPY DIVORCE!! And second, she tried on a size 8 dress last night and looks FANTASTIC! We will definately be celebrating this weekend.

Hey everyone. This week was okay. I got my exercise in but eating was up and down. I made cakes for the advisor retreat, plus the advising retreat was catered so, although I filled 3/4 of my plate with grilled veggies I squeezed in a few taste of some goodies on that other 1/4 of the plate. (mmmm crabcake) so I'm down another whopping 1.25 lb! Seems to be a pattern for me. I'm going to change things up this week and start South Beach. I think instead of phase I I'll start at a phase 1.5 so I can keep up my running.

By the way, Lisa. How the heck did you manage to lose in Vegas! I'm totally impressed! The only thing I ever lose in Vegas is money!
 
Don't worry it will all catch up with me this week. It takes 3 days on average for your food to weigh as excess. I really did walk miles and miles but the girls would not let me count it as my exercise.
A pound here and a pound there is OK with me, it is certainly better than a gain.
 
Ok, I have a feeling that this weeks weigh is not going to be good.. I will have to pay my $5 penalty for sure. I could not get motivated to exercise this week. I was ready for bed at 8:30 every night this week. I even fell asleep during ER last night. Who does that?:sad2: Who would have thunk that giving up coffee this week would make me soooo sleepy. Now I know that the only reason I did get things done is because I was tanked up on caffiene!:coffee:

Well, I'm going to have to find a happy medium and go from there. I hope all of you are kicking butt this week!
 
I'll join you in having a bad week. I can't figure out why but my "preweigh" this morning was scary bad.:eek: The only thing I've been doing different is actually getting all my water in! I wonder if my body is punishing me for not drinking before by holding on to all of it just in case I decide not to drink again?:upsidedow

Oh well. We'll make up for it! And don't worry about ER. Now if you fall asleep during Grey's Anatomy we really have something to worry about.;)
 
I know this really works but I sure am getting tired of the slug pace! If I could sear this into my brain and remember WHY you don't let your weight get SO far away from you that it takes so long to lose it all! UGH!:eek:
