Day 4
We decided to change the itinerary around a little to accomodate the weather. Day 4 was going to be AK the the P&PP, but since it was nice outside and our day for recreation was going to be chilly, we switched the two.
Breakfast was at Kona for my beloved Tonga Toast, however, I do have to say, "When did they start shoving in half a banana?" I thought I remembered the banana being sliced? Oh well. So I ate half of my Tonga Toast and Vern had the Big Kahuna. I asked to get a box for the rest of my breakfast and we went to look at the shops and hang out on the patio of the Poly and talk. When time came to go rent the boat we headed to the marina. It was such a beautiful day. We rented the Montauk and headed out. I used to love driving boats as a kid because my grandparents lived on a lake, so for me, this was really fun and kinda sentimental. One of my favorite memories of this trip was "parking" the boat near MK and finishing my Tonga Toast looking at Cinderella's Castle. I felt like a princess!
For lunch we headed back to CBR for lunch at Old Port Royale and then back to our room to relax.
For dinner we went to Boma. We got to AKL a little early so I went to the gift shop. I had wanted to buy a Lilo plush doll, but the Poly didn't have them anymore. Well, neither did the AKL. We went for our yummy dinner. This time I tried the Cocomisu and requested the recipie. It was so good.
Then off to the bus bound for MK and the P&PP! As we were leaving AKL, the bus driver had to slam on the breaks, and Vern fell forward. When he tried to catch himself, his watch clasp slammed on the back of my hand and scratched it pretty bad. So as we were getting to MK and Wishes were going off, we had to make a trip to First Aid. A guy there (I think his name was Joe) was super cool. He cleaned me up, gave me a band-aid and an ice pack with a strecthy glove like thing to hold it on. I felt so much better.
So the first thing we always do when we got to MK is ride Space Mountain (usually), so we did that. As soon as we got off, it started to DOWNPOUR outside.

We had brought small umbrellas, but that didn't help when all the things I wanted to do were outside. We rode Space Mountain a few more times since there was literally NO LINE!

When the rain started to lighten up, I went on Astro Orbitor. Then we headed to the hub. They canceled the Dream with Mickey stage show even after 40 minutes of drying the stage with squeegies and huge fans. But the parade went on. My camera didn't get many good pictures, so I really don't have any to share.
But I did get this pic, which everyone loves! LOL
We didn't stay much longer because it was still sprinkling a little and it was getting really chilly. We went to the Mian Street Bakery for dessert and went to look at the beautiful jewelry they had in there.
We didn't go see Capt Jack. We didn't get any candy or jewels (the lines for that were long). I didn't get my Princess lessons. Oh well, there's always next January, right?
Coming up next...
Disney MGM Studios and we got "Dreamed"
