Let's get this PAR-TAY started!!! *days 3 & 4* pg. 4

I am at work all day today, and I have some schoolwork to do tonight, and a conference Friday and Saturday.

I have resized all the pics for day 3, I just need to write. Maybe I'll sqeeze it inbetween school stuff.

BTW, I finally convinced Vern to do the WIWF tour this morning. I'll tell you about my tactic later! LOL :rotfl2:

Awesome news about the tour ;) I think I already know what tactic you used...but I will listen for it just the same  .

If you aren't able to get to the report before I leave, then I will make sure I catch up when i get back!!

Actually, it's probably not what you think! :rotfl:

At WDW on our last trip, I asked Vern if we could stay for the little film after Maelstrom. I am interested because I have some Norwegian heritage in my family. He talked me out of it, and later I regretted that. I told him and he felt really bad because he didn't realize how important it was to me.

So I told him that the WIWF tour was really important to me. If he was waiting for me to change my mind, I wasn't going to. And if we didn't do the tour, I was going to regret it, :sad1: "just like Maelstrom". That was the clincher. I hated doing it, but I used his feelings of guilt to get what I wanted. :sad2: In a way, though, he feels like he owes me since he cheated me out of the Maelstrom video. So it's not like I really manipulated him, right??? :confused3

Had to start reading when I saw "PMS" in the title, LOL!! I try to hard to plan my vacations around that time of the month, but it's tricky! Fortunately this last trip I was a week over it, thank goodness!

haha!!!! me, too! fortunately i don't suffer from pms all that bad, but that "other" time of the month is horrid for me. i actually just went to the doctor for my yearly exam (how fun! :scared: ) and before going i had realized that i would have my monthly friend (i swear i'm not in junior high....just trying not to be gross!) while at WDW. i asked her what i should do because i no NOT want to be worrying about having "womanly" products on hand while trudging through all the parks. so i'm skipping my sugar pill week this month and starting my birth control pill pack early in order to have the problem taken care of the week before we leave. hormones rock!!! :rotfl:

Hi Amber just bumping your great TR and wondering if all's well? Hope to see you soon. :)

Great TR so far...sorry your first day got messed up by PMS. That always sucks! keep us posted!

Okay, I have got to get back on the ball. Sorry it's been so long. Today is the first day I've had with not much to do, so I have some time to type. In order to get it all done, though, it's gonna be the Cliff's Notes version.

Day 3

We decided to cancel our Chef Mickey's ADRs and sleep in a little. We just headed to Old Port Royal for some Mickey waffles and then head to the Disney Cruise Line desk to see what we needed to do to check in for our cruise. All was set and we were off to catch the bus.

On to Epcot! :yay:

We headed to Soarin first since that line gets long pretty quickly. We love it so much. Then we did Mission Space and sadly skipped doing the postcard from space to home. That was alot of fun on our first trip.

We then rode Test Track. I still cannot believe that the Mack truck surprises me every time. I screamed like a little girl! LOL

It was getting close to lunch and since we had ADRs at Coral Reef, we went over to the new Nemo ride. It was SO AWESOME! The technology they use is great. And I got a few pics of the preshow. If you look off to the left in the first pic, you see the birds that go, "mine, mine, mine, mine". I LOVE IT!!!

So after that we went to lunch. The food was okay, but out waiter was great. We got a special paper menu that we could take home and it said Happy Anniversary. Very sweet.

After lunch we went to Club Cool for the first time. Vern tried the Beverly.

I liked the Fanta Kolita from Costa Rica best.

Then it was on to World Showcase. Not much to say here since it was all pretty much the same, but I love what I dubbed as the "Chair Stack-robats"! :lmao:

So we ended up in Mexico and got some Margheritas (I love the flavored ones) and boarded the Friendship for a little round trip cruise on the lagoon.

Then it was off to dinner at Rose and Crown. It was a bit chilly by then, but we were seated on the lagoon and had a GREAT view of Illuminations! :goodvibes

As we were leaving I had some major leg pains. Note to self: no more wearing Birki's on long park days with lots of walking! Only wear tennis shoes! :faint:

Day 4

We decided to change the itinerary around a little to accomodate the weather. Day 4 was going to be AK the the P&PP, but since it was nice outside and our day for recreation was going to be chilly, we switched the two.

Breakfast was at Kona for my beloved Tonga Toast, however, I do have to say, "When did they start shoving in half a banana?" I thought I remembered the banana being sliced? Oh well. So I ate half of my Tonga Toast and Vern had the Big Kahuna. I asked to get a box for the rest of my breakfast and we went to look at the shops and hang out on the patio of the Poly and talk. When time came to go rent the boat we headed to the marina. It was such a beautiful day. We rented the Montauk and headed out. I used to love driving boats as a kid because my grandparents lived on a lake, so for me, this was really fun and kinda sentimental. One of my favorite memories of this trip was "parking" the boat near MK and finishing my Tonga Toast looking at Cinderella's Castle. I felt like a princess! :goodvibes

For lunch we headed back to CBR for lunch at Old Port Royale and then back to our room to relax.

For dinner we went to Boma. We got to AKL a little early so I went to the gift shop. I had wanted to buy a Lilo plush doll, but the Poly didn't have them anymore. Well, neither did the AKL. We went for our yummy dinner. This time I tried the Cocomisu and requested the recipie. It was so good.

Then off to the bus bound for MK and the P&PP! As we were leaving AKL, the bus driver had to slam on the breaks, and Vern fell forward. When he tried to catch himself, his watch clasp slammed on the back of my hand and scratched it pretty bad. So as we were getting to MK and Wishes were going off, we had to make a trip to First Aid. A guy there (I think his name was Joe) was super cool. He cleaned me up, gave me a band-aid and an ice pack with a strecthy glove like thing to hold it on. I felt so much better.

So the first thing we always do when we got to MK is ride Space Mountain (usually), so we did that. As soon as we got off, it started to DOWNPOUR outside. :sad2: We had brought small umbrellas, but that didn't help when all the things I wanted to do were outside. We rode Space Mountain a few more times since there was literally NO LINE! When the rain started to lighten up, I went on Astro Orbitor. Then we headed to the hub. They canceled the Dream with Mickey stage show even after 40 minutes of drying the stage with squeegies and huge fans. But the parade went on. My camera didn't get many good pictures, so I really don't have any to share. :sad1:

But I did get this pic, which everyone loves! LOL :rotfl2:

ppp1.jpg

We didn't stay much longer because it was still sprinkling a little and it was getting really chilly. We went to the Mian Street Bakery for dessert and went to look at the beautiful jewelry they had in there.

We didn't go see Capt Jack. We didn't get any candy or jewels (the lines for that were long). I didn't get my Princess lessons. Oh well, there's always next January, right? :woohoo:

Coming up next...
Disney MGM Studios and we got "Dreamed"

Yeah you're back, we were getting worried there! Great Epcot day can't wait to go on the new Nemo ride and I love TT and Soarin too :thumbsup2

Yippee!! Amber's back, woo hoo!

Loved your two new posts, but sorry to hear about your rainy P&PP:sad2: But it sounds like you may have some magic on the way.....

Hi Amber! Great TR. The Mr. and I have been a bit crazy lately (no, I mean crazier than usual). This is the first thread I've caught up on. Y'all seem so much like us, it's hysterical.
