why do people automatically think you should have a purple mohawk and lip rings when you say you like punk?
i'm not like hardcore into punk (or into hardcore for that matter) but i do like a bit of it. the descendants, pennywise, blink-182 (which is a bit more pop-ish and newer, but alot of their stuff is inspired by stuff like the descendants and fugazi and whatnot), nofx, green day, a tiny bit of the offspring (i haven't discovered much), and whatever else there is. whenever someone see's that on my ipod they automatically say "you're into punk?! i'm surprised you're not covered in tats, sporting multiple piercings, and wearing a purple mohawk!".


alright, so that was kinda odd, but it bugs me. just because someone likes a certain type of music doesn't mean the fit in and act like everyone in the scene. i like a tiny bit of hip hop music but i wouldn't go around wearing grillz and baggy pants and bling-bling or whatever's it's called these days.

yeah, i mean i'm not like "punk rock 24/7" but i do like the music, i'm just not into the whole scene.

and while we're on the topic of music, since when are we supposed to relay our moods/feelings through the music on our myspace page? apparently that's the reason behind the gossip around here. "oh did you see her myspace song? it's about hooking up with someone who's not yours and you know she's been after your boy for the longest time".

Hey all.. just saying hi before I go to bed...
I'm in LA this week.
Today was really fun, I did a tour at Loyola Marymount University, ate at In-N-Out <3, and walked a bit around UCLA.

Got to my hotel across the street from the DLR esplanade at around 8:30PM, went to DtD and shopped a bit in the World of Disney store... They have SO MUCH NBX stuff, that I nearly died.. I got a Jack shirt, a Haunted Mansion magnet, and a cute limited edition Hitchhiking Ghost Mickey (#333).

Going to bed.. it's 11:20, and I'm waking up at 6 (eek!). Night everyone... DL tomorrow =D
