I agree in general, but not always. I think some people are naturally good at multitasking and are able to do it and still maintain high productivity. And millennials are said to have short attention spans.

I found this to be super insightful. Knowing that GenX runs the DISboards, these are some interesting tips- even if they are meant to apply to the workplace.
It is true that it is said. But it is not necessarily true. Check out this article from March:

Gen X is also know as (or at least used to be) "Baby Busters". The smallest generation - socially and professionally oppressed by our Boomer overlords and now rendered culturally irrelevant by the Millennials.Millennials were originally Gen Y, somewhere along the line they changed it.
Who decided "generations" needed labels anyway.

I've got a very eclectic set of values being the Gen X child of Traditionalist parents and all my siblings being Boomers. My only child is a Gen Edge'r.![]()

Yes! We watched it for a long time - first being built, and then sitting empty. This thread has been great fun. Now I'm going to interject some Disney!
Did you know, and you probably did because everyone here has been into Disney much longer than me, that the AofA resort was originally going to be the "legendary years" half of Pop Century? But it was scrapped after 9/11, only to be restarted in 2010/11 and turned into what it is now. The bridge between the two was supposed to symbolize bridging the generation gap. Cue the awwws, because that's what I thought when reading this. How sweet. :')
Nurses have to be good at multi-tasking. It can get crazy sometimes!Multi-tasking is often a necessary evil, but it destroys efficiency.
It's similar in my job too but I do completely agree with @Gumbo4x4 . I would get waaaaay more accomplished in a day if I could just prioritize and schedule the tasks and actually finish something before I had to leave it for something else. I'm governed by the "tyranny of the urgent" which is not to be confused with the most important.Nurses have to be good at multi-tasking. It can get crazy sometimes!![]()
