That rib recipe sounds yummy and I love crockpot recipes. It is always nice to come home and dinner is already ready!

My package won't go out until Friday. I'm glad I found out about the flat rate boxes. I went online to the post office website and ordered a bundle so I will have them handy.

I'm learning all kinds of things on the DIS boards!

You can just go to your post office and ask for them. They are sometimes just put on the side with the other post office forms like delivery confirmation..... The boxes cost $8.10 to ship within the U.S. and it doesn't matter how heavy the items in the box is. Remember, if you go to the USPS site, you can also get free delivery confirmation when you print out a postage label, and you can also get a prepaid address label if you want to charge it onto your credit card. If you do so, then you can just drop off your box on the side and not wait in line.

This might be a dumb question but where can you get the adhesive labels to print your shipping label on? I see on the post office website where and how to print the label with your postage on it but I didn't see the labels for sale any where on the website.

You can get it online and also at the post office. For online, just view the different products that you can order and it will be there.
If you are printing your address label online, then your label will just print on a regular computer paper with all your information.

Yes, you will get a sheet-1/2 with the address label portion, and the other half is for your reference with the delivery confirmation number....If you want, you could get a sticker project paper to print it out on, but then you will waste half the paper.
