As of 03/05, We have 708 Disney Reward Dollars :)

most importantly we have not paid a dime in interest :)

You got me beat.... but I'm not sure this is a contest I really want to win! ;)

We only have 70. :( DH wouldn't let me put anything on the card because it has a high interest rate. But I started to charge stuff on the card and then make a transfer from our checking account immediately so I wouldn't ever have a balance. DH thinks that's ok as long as I don't keep a balance. I make about 4 or 5 transfers a month. I just keep track of what I put on the card and then at the end of the week schedule a transfer from our bank (all online so its easy.)

My husband bought a car last night and tried to put some of it on the Disney Visa for the rewards. :teeth: :teeth: The dealership didn't accept credit cards for that high of an amount. :hyper:

I thought I was doing pretty good, but you've double what I have!

On the plus side for me, I've done better than I thought I would have!

To avoid interest, you just have to make sure you pay the full balance each month. It sure beats making several payments each month.
Although... I will often make more than one payment each month so that I don't get too shocked when I see the final bill. Since you can pay online, it's really easy to make a payment.

I just broke $100 this month and was excited about that. I am 'hopeing' to have enough to pay for my little extras on our Disney Cruise in September.

WOW...that's alot. We have no way near that amount, mostly because we only use our Disney Visa card wherever Amex is not accepted. DH likes the Amex better because we get cash back. I guess if we did use the Disney Visa for eveything we would have a bigger rewards balance, but still no way near $700. Way to go brunoflipper!!

I know I only have to pay once per month, but this way I can monitor how much I spend. Plus it helps DH and I stay "on the same page." If I waited until the end of the month to pay the Visa, then money that I am planning to apply to the payment is in our checking account and DH might think its "available". KWIM? This way, the money is withdrawn from the checking account and there is no confusion about how much available money we have. With online bill pay it is really only a matter of a couple clicks and its done.

It just seems to work well for us.

The one thing I am best at is shopping! I have accumulated 72. on the DV (because I used the previous reward balance on our trip last Oct), and DH has only accumulated a few, since he just got the card a few months ago. We pay pretty high interest on his old card, so this is much better, even with a balance.

I'm close I have just over 600!! I got our park hoppers for our April trip before Christmas when it was triple points, I'm sure that helped!

I also put ALL our groceries on the visa...with 6 kids that's a LOT of food!

I thought we were doing great--$490+ in rewards. We should be at $500 by the time we reach WDW in June! You, however, have exceeded all of my own expectations!

My husband did charge a car and we haven't paid any interest either! :p Free money. . .gotta' love it--AND we got the DVisa discount for our room--now, if I could just skim that extra $5 p/n off the room with my AP! :D

I have 939 points so far. Looks like my husband and I will both be able to get premium annual passes this year.

We have just slightly under 700 now, but should have that much once this next billing cycle ends (and hopefully before we leave the World). It helps that we remodeled our house and put most of the lumber purchases on the card and then just paid it off. And, thankfully we earned those 700 reward $ without paying any interest either.:)

gotta agree free money is great... we have been quite diligent about using our disney visa for everything we possibly could... we've even switched some of our utilities over... if could only pay the mortgage with the card we'd really be recking up the points:)
