I want to know the origins of/story behind Ash's hamster and Luv's feathery lobster.

The feathery lobster in my sig. came about when someone (I believe Froggy) posted a pic of the thing when it was first discovered a few months ago--it's some sort of lobster species that no one ever knew existed. On the T&B thread we were all freaked out by it, especially tevagirl. So now I keep his picture up just to irritate her. Briarmom named him Lucas. I have had more PMs about that thing than I could count!

As for Ash's hamster, I have heard many explanations as to what that creature really is (I always thought it was a beaver), but I believe Duckfan's probably makes the most sense.

another question? why can't we have a "wretching" smiley (some posts just scream for it), and why if i can't post the accepted medical term for a part of a woman's anatomy (as was edited in a post about preganancies earlier today)-can't we at least have a dancing fruit to denote it (as is the accepted practice with our friend )?

Dan's been around a very, very long time, and offers a lot of opinions on both Disney and non-Disney topics. Like Angel said, he has tons of posts, and is quite well-known. He's been taking a DIS-break lately, which is why you may not know him or have seen him around.
