Let's answer some questions that have popped in your head while reading a thread...

And, how come I know how threads started by FlowersChild will end up (in a battle between 2 posters) but, like an accident, I still have to look. popcorn::

Yes, I feel the same way.

And I wish I could do the multiple quote thing, but I can't. Can't post pictures either.

I'm wondering if anyone else thinks that line is tag worthy. :scratchin
hehehe I so agree!

Yeah, especially the Tigger&Belle PM thread. Its so long, yet it seems like there's a party going on in there that I'd like to join but it requires too much back reading. :confused3 Can someone give me the cliff notes version of the T&B thread?

And as far as those smilies, there are several that I can't see a use for. Especially this one! :laundy:
If you're in the mood, you can do some back reading, but you really don't have to, because like was pointed out, we change topics more often than I change rolls of toilet paper and more often than Duck changes his underwear (like that's saying anything... :lmao: ).

As to the laudry smilie, if you had the 4 kids that I have, you'd get that smilie--my w/d is always running and when my kids were younger I felt like I was always doing laundry without ever taking a break. :teeth:

Come on in! I didn't wait for an invite, I just barged in, popped a beer and copped a squat. No need for back reading as the topic changes about every 10 minutes :rotfl: Newbie buy the drinks!
I knew that you popped the beer, but had no idea that you copped the squat! You are too funny!!! :rotfl2:

Open up two windows on the same thread. Use one to write your reply and the other one quote the posters who you want to quote. After you have pushed the quote button, copy the text and paste it into the reply that you are constructing and add what you want to add. Go back to the other window, hit back so you are back to the thread (leaving the window alone that you are writing the reply in) and hit quote in another post. Do the same that you did before (copy and past). When you are done with your reply, hit send. Be careful to keep them straight so you don't erase what you are writing!

I invited myself to that thread, and the folks there couldn't have been any nicer. They did require me to bring pizza, but that was OK!

Oh, yeah, that's easy. I'll try it when I have time---which is NEVER! LOL

I wonder how many people didn't know I usually go commando.

Since I have the good fortune of knowing just why Sheridac misses her Poopies (and I must say I miss them too!) I am left to ponder the following...

1. How can anyone be the "last" one to post on a thread that goes on so long? Are they waiting for it to get locked up? I don't get it.

2. Do the threads kissing up to the Tag Fairy result in the person getting tagged? If so, I need to start smooching, because I'm not only nearing 1000 posts but it's my birthday! Great day for a first tag!

3. Are the people posting Happy Dance threads REALLY happy? And are they really dancing?

:bday: You deserve a tag!!!!

On your last point, it depends on which type of dancing. Most of us agree that this one  is not doing normal dancing, but it is a good way to get our husbands to agree to most anything...

1)They're waiting for the thread to be hijacked by some of the very people on this thread. That would cause it be locked up pretty quick and bring closure to the thread.

2)Usually the person asking to be tagged isn't. It's the person telling the person asking for the tag some deep secret about the tag fairy's gambling problems (or something like that) or someone who wandered onto the thread looking for directions to the Last one to Post thread.

3)Most of the people posting happy dance threads have visited one of the many lounges on the CB...they're really dancing the day they post. The next day they're not really doing the happy dance.

No, I didn't know that. No, I didn't need to know that. Yes, I'm going to forget that I know that. Don't do this: :yay: :yay: :yay:

IT IS A HAMSTER!!!!!!!!!!

and it's not gooey.

But I've always wondered if people who use "quotes" in sentences on here use "air quotes" in real life when they're talking.

See. I told you she'd yell.

Kimmie!!!!!!!!
I miss the poopies too....I can't wait till they return. I haven't shown the poopies my daily love... I should do that.

1. I don't think that thread is ever going to end...and what kind of prize do they get.

2. I am past 1000 still no tag for me. Happy birthday again!

3. I dance every day because I am one day closer to Disney.

Why does Ash yell so much?

:ssst: Don't tell Ash, but you can highlight the text for the not-surprising answer she has an anger problem and has a difficult time with animal identification...put those together and you have someone who yells about her animals on a regular basis. Maybe we should chip in and buy her a field guide to wild animals...good thing we like her in spite of these flaws! Hi Ash, how are you doing today. Like that hamster! :thumbsup2 ;) :rotfl2:

You also need to be careful that you do not have two reply windows open on two different threads and get them confused. Came very close to that one earlier today.

and, after visiting the TR board, I am currently wondering,

"What have we done to drive vettechick away?" :( She says it's not us, it's her, which in breakup language TOTALLY means it's us. I'll miss her.

I invited myself too. Like you found, the folks there are very nice. But why did they make me dance (bailar) before they would accept me?

You are the only one who had to dance.
