My Explorer is coming home from the Mechanics today ~ all fixed!!!

I saw a little yellowish bird. Maybe it was a Golden Finch, I'm not really sure. It really stood out among the Cat Birds, and morning doves.

My DD (5) woke up and the first thing she said this morning was "I love you Mom your the best Mom in the World".

Today has been a rotten day for me really. Just in a bad mood, kids driving me nuts, you know the drill. Had to run some errands, and I found a new throw rug for my newly painted family room! Sorry, that's as good as it gets today! LOL

I made Mickey Mouse cookies for two little boys that are coming to dinner tonight. I found my cookie cutters the other day that I forgot that I had.

I threw out the idea last night that we should go to WDW once before our already scheduled trip to see the mouse in October, and DH didn't even flinch...so I'm planning for a trip at the end of August!

Last time we were there it was the week before Thanksgiving 2003...from then until October 2004 is too long to wait!

Finally, something good here, too! My son got a job and I found $20 in the washing machine! (the money is probably mine as I'm the only one who ever leaves it in my pockets like that, but it sure was fun to find!)

DS and I survived dollar day at the extremely hot and crowded Dallas Zoo today. Now we're ready for WDW this August!

Plus I'm home now which is always nice.

Took DD's to Barnes and Noble for their free books! If you haven't heard about it, the store is having a great summer reading program - kids read 8 books and write a sentence about their favorite part in each and they get a free book. The list of books to choose from is pretty good. Best of all...when we went to check out, they said we could do it again...each child can do the program twice!! Bonus! That's our excitement for this July day!

thanks for the opportunity, I got on the scale this morning and was down a pound, 20 so far since May 3rd.

Yeah South Beach!

I even went shopping for a new bathing suit and couldn't decide so I bought 3.

Hope to lose another 20 before my December trip.

It's a process but well worth it.
