Oh, I do empathize. Since DD and DS are a little over two years apart, we were paying for theirs at the same time. I was SO happy when that was done. However, now we have tuition bills, which are even higher!! And we'll have at least 2 years of paying for both kids at the same time.

We got lucky. They told us when DD was little that she would need braces (a space between her front teeth), but her teeth eventually closed on their own as she got older. But that's okay, we wasted it on show horses, so it all come out even!

My oh My ladies - you both are in rare form this morning I rarely laugh this early in the morning, my co-workers keep walking by my office with that "concerned" look on their faces.......You know the "uhhh ohhh she's losing it" look (they know I am genetically predisposed to the possibility )

We are some group:
Me, who some think has a drinking problem (I know I'm in denial ) A Cat who is part Lemur who needs drug rehab, A dog who needs to go to group because she was referred to as rotund, hubbies whose wives don't trust them with the kids or the animals another dog with a Napolean complex and sharp teeth and a person who has blown up a monitor 2 days in a row! Wow, and here I thought my life was pretty mundane...........

I am having a buried, swamped, can't see the top of my desk, not enough coffee, growling at anyone who has been brave enough to enter my office kinda day!
If one more person (who turned in their paperwork yesterday LATE) asks me why the health care provider is not showing the changes of their added spouse yet this morning I am going to scream

Sure, they can drag their feet, they can be late, they can hinder the process. But when my benefit provider doesn't stay up all night working overtime to get their info in the system then they are all twitterpated What a bunch of spoiled brats, babies, whiney mamby pamby PITA employees..........

Popping in to say HI

I am having a buried, swamped, can't see the top of my desk, not enough coffee, growling at anyone who has been brave enough to enter my office kinda day!
If one more person (who turned in their paperwork yesterday LATE) asks me why the health care provider is not showing the changes of their added spouse yet this morning I am going to scream

Don't go there, girlfriend. I haven't LOOKED at the enrollment stuff and won't be able to until sometime tomorrow (I hope!)

I am swamped too. Sorry that your coworkers are being such whiny self centered babies. Have you chewed any of them out yet? They sure deserve it. Hang in there!!

Back to work too. Day is going okay; at least I'm getting more work done this week than last!!!!

Same here (swamped all day) -

I've been calling the State Dept. of Ed. for 3 weeks trying to find out why our Title VI application hadn't arrived yet. The app I sent in last year has a cover sheet with a date on it of 10-10-06, so I was really starting to wonder. Everytime I called, they were out of the office monitoring a school district.

I finally got somebody yesterday. They were surprised that I hadn't gotten the information. After further conversation, it was determined that they switched over from mailing the packages out (as they've done in the past) to ListServ this year.

It was released the middle of September, but I didn't get it. Apparently, they accidentally left our county off the list.

And it's due October 18th.

And it has to be approved by the school board first (which met Monday night and isn't scheduled to meet again until next month).

And I have to leave town Monday morning.

And I have a professional development workshop all day Saturday.

I just got an email from an acquaintance (since you guys really are my only friends) she works at UNR and she is pulling her hair out also!

Must be the weather, or the moon, or a martini shortage (was there a potato famine I missed and the vodka supply is running low ), or, or, or,......
Oh, I know what it is.............Silly me, should have thought of it earlier. It is the announced merger of Coors and Miller - people all over are worried they won't be able to get their favorite beer!

Coors was purchased by Molson (Canadian brewer) a few years ago, so we're trying to figure out what the new merger of Miller and Molson/Coors will be called.

The "Miller, Molson & Coors" Brewing Company sounds like a law firm!!!!
