I saw the food pics and then they were gone - you are not hallucinating. I am still on hold - 40 minutes now and they said I had a 30 minute wait. Oh joy!

Got CRT lunch! No Tusker breakfast though - they were booked the entire day I wanted - no biggie.

Went quickly once her computer found the times I wanted - she was really friendly and nice and even though the whole process took 46 minutes (from dialing to confirmation), I was happy!

I was on hold less than ten minutes, but ended up with a cast member that for whatever reason, couldn't access the PLUS TEN and spent 25 minutes telling me she didn't understand what the problems was. I'm disappointed that 7:35 a.m. was the only time left for breakfast at Boma. We wanted something later.

Oh, well. We've been lucky with all the other ADRs, so it's hard to complain.

Wow, that's an early breakfast. We got what we wanted on different days/times though for our August trip. I am very happy!!!!! Called last night and seems like at night you don't stay on hold.

Thanks for all the advice! I've been lurking since I talked DH into going back to the world for free dining almost a month ago. I started calling right at 6:57 AM. I called several times and got through right away on the 4th try! I could not get a Fantasmic package or Ohana from Aug. 19th-Aug. 25th. But, other than that, we did well as I did not have to change our touring plans, and we got meals around the desired times! We got the following reservations for 4 (2 adults and DS 11 and DD 14) for our stay:

Aug. 20th--Sci-Fi at 1:25 pm
Aug 21--Tepan Edu at 1:00pm
Aug. 22 1900 Park Faire at 6:45 pm
Aug. 23--Donald's Breakfast Safari at Tusker Hse at 8:00 am
Aug. 23--Yak & Yeti at 2:30 pm
Aug. 24th CP at 1:00pm

just finished and now am exhausted!!! I got all the places I wanted but not all the dates or times (I can stress about that later!) overall very pleased!

maybe give a call another day to see if changes could be made.

Thanks webtradr! I called back and am now on hold to see about the 22nd. This is the exact day I wanted Ohana! LOL. I took the day off to do this, so I might as well spend it on the phone. Otherwise, I'll keep checking back as we get closer...

I just got off the phone - and I hate to see that phone bill from 7:09am - 8:36am. I did get a great person who was very patient with me seeing as how this is our FIRST trip to Disney and my first time doing reservations. I got everything I wanted - except Ohana (which I knew was tough going in) and the Fantasmic package for 8/23 - everything was gone. So I ended up with:

8/19 - Crystal Palace @ 7:50 pm
8/20 - Biergarten @ 7:25 pm
8/21 - Liberty Tree Tavern @ 11:35 am - lunch
8/22 - Tusker House @ 5:35 pm
8/23 - 50's Primetime Cafe - 5:45 pm (this is the one I wanted Fantasmic for)
8/24 - Teppan Edo @ 6:10 pm

Not bad - nothing everything exactly but still okay.

With a fourteen night trip I've had to call several times. I have about four hours phone time invested since Monday. But I think I'm finally done!

50 minutes is nothing compared to what many of us went thru yesterday!! We held for over an hour only to be told the system had gone down 30 minutes earlier!!

In all it took me 2 & 1/2 hours of phone time, 4 different castmembers and a lot of patience to make 8 ressies! On my 2nd call I found a CM with a working computer and we had made 2 ressies when hers crashed so she transferred me to CM #3 who said that the 2 ressies I had made with the other CM were gone !! CM #3's computer died also and I was transferred one last time and finally got something on the books for all 8 nights.

My surprise was that I could get dinner at Le Cellier but NOT 'Ohana (we usually dine there at least 2 times per trip = our all time FAV!)!! I just kept asking CM #4 if there was any night, any time (wanted 9:00pm but would have taken anything) for 'Ohana and she just kept saying that there was nothing! We finally found a 9:30pm on August 24 which will be perfect for viewing Wishes at 10:00 from the restaurant.

I can't help but think that with all of the computer glitches yesterday that multiple time slots were being locked up on the frozen/crashed computers. When I "lost" my Sci-Fi ressie between CM #2 and #3, it was only a matter of 3 minutes but it was not linked to me and the time slot had vanished .

Congrats to all who got thru and scored ressies and good luck to those who are still working on it!

Okay so now I feel guilty complaining about the time I had to hold when you went through so much.

On another subject.......since this is my FIRST time doing this does Disney now send me a written copy of all the reservations that I made in the mail or something with the confirmation #'s on it. I was just wondering because I would like to see something in writing to make sure that they did not loose my reservations (like so many others have said).

Does anyone know if they do this?
