Alright. This will be my third attempt @ a pre/trip report here on the dis. I'm thinking this time I will get to complete more, hopefully all, of the trip report. So we'll see how that all goes.

Intro:
We are a family of 4, and we live in the great state of New York. Our family includes me (Tiffany 36), my husband (Billy..I call him Bop 39),my oldest son (Conner 7 March 30th..I call him Beak or Beaky), and my youngest son (Zachary 3 (4 May 11th) I call him Zach-Zachy-or Boot)

We're a hot mess in general, but the absolute modern family. We are loud (this is normally Zachy's position..hey, he's 3), over the top (this is normally Zachy's position..again, he's 3), and mostly a fun-loving Disney family.
We are scheduled to be @ the World May 30th - June 7th. These facts will more then likely change within the next couple days to May 29th - June 7th. The airfare has been driving me nuts over the last week or so.

Ok, let's talk more about who we are in our daily lives. Myself, I'm a professional SAHM. I am responsible for all things "home", transportation, planning, scheduling, preparing etc. You know, the work horse of the family. I do it all, and the pay stinks. But I would have it no other way. I have paid my dues, and by school year 2012/2013..I will live the nice life. You see, that will be the year that both of my boys will be full time students. And I will be able to hit the streets without the pitter patter of small feet in my shadows. SWEET!!! I am a Jerseygirl living in New York, so yeah, I feel some kind of way almost everyday. I grew up in Jersey, and New York is no Jersey. We live here because my husband is on the job. Let's talk about him now. My husband is from Jersey also, that's actually how we met, shopping in the Wiz (who remembers the Wiz???). He's very, very laid back...and my complete opposite in every way. He's on the job 15 years now, and just got promoted to One Police Plaza in September! This means he's not on patrol any longer, and has landed a very cushy inside job working in the internal disciplinary court. This was such a score, and I know he deserves it. He loves the Yankees and the Jets. Sports in general, beer, and he doesn't really love Disney. But he loves me, and food...so we have been 5 times together, and Disney was our first vacation together.

On to my oldest son, Conner. Conner is my little sweetheart. He is almost 7, and loves everything Mario bros. He is in first grade, where he is on Silver Honors. He is a week away from making his red belt in Tae Kwon do, and loves to read. Currently he is reading his way through the Magic Tree house series. He is so sweet, not a mean bone in his body. Loves his brother, and Tae Kwon Do.

On to my youngest son, Zachy. He is everything that Conner is not!!! He is just so impossible (that sounds awful right? OMG, it is the truth!). Do not ever listen to anyone that says terrible two's, lies! Terrible 3's is the truth. This little angel of mine is the cutest little hell-raiser you will ever in your lifetime meet. Zachy is a boy's boy, in every way. He is rough and tough, loud and messy, hungry and thirsty, and my other little heart. He is my "savory baby", he loves food. Conner is my "sweet baby", he loves sweets. He is in Pre-K 3, and will be 4 on May 11th. He also loves everything Mario Bros, and his big brother. He is a handful, and he makes his presence known wherever he is. He is also a smart one, the imagination and brain on this kid is phenomenal. He has no filter on his mouth at all, and it causes me embarrasment often. Good times to come, I can just feel it.

We are going to fly into Orlando from the Newark International airport. We always fly JetBlue, their prices are normally the cheapest, and they offer the best tv shows to occupy us all. Their goodies are awesome too. We didn't buy our tickets yet for our departure, as the price literally doubled at the beginning of this week! But I did buy our return tickets the minute I saw that they were still the original price. And it looks like we will start out on the 29th, as those prices have returned to their original cost also. Thought I would just add an extra day w/ Disney..but that price for one night is just ridiculous. So, I think it will be The Hampton Inn..their price is $68.

Our accomodations for the trip will be @ The Caribbean Beach Resort. We made our deposit when they were offering free dining, and at that time we went with our regular room at Pop Century. But now that the boys are totally into Jake and the Neverland Pirates show, I thought why not go with the pirate room at CBR. The price increase was around $400, so I changed it. Should probably tell my husband about that . We have regular base tickets for 8 days, and plus dining. This is the way that we always go, and when the boys are older and taller, perhaps we will go with hoppers. Zach will be tall enough to hang this trip, so this should be sweet. And, we will only have one stroller this time. Lots of firsts this trip, so this should shape up to be a pretty decent learning experience.
Dining this time is alot of the same, as well as a few new places. We all are pretty different in our eating preferences. Bop is pretty much your average Irish guy, meat and potatoes/fries, pizza, and hes straight. Me, I love anything bbq, and asain. Conner is a plain kind of kid. He hates sauces, veggies visible in anything, and savory foods in general. He loves pizza, hot dogs, cheese burgers, chicken tenders, grilled cheese, and anything sweet. Zachy loves pretty much everything, unless he feels like following whatever his brother says (he loves his brother!). So some of the places we will visit this time are: Ohana's, Raglan Road (new), Liberty Tree, Rose and Crown(new), 50's Primetime, Cape May Cafe(new), Via Naploi(new), Sci-Fi(new for everyone but me), and either Whispering Canyon or Kona Cafe.

From the time I posted the start of this pre-trip report, until now, the price on 3 out of the 4 flights I was watching went up almost 50% the fare:eek:! So, scared out of my mind, I purchased the outbound portion of our trips airfare. We are now officially travelling Sunday May 29th through Tuesday June 7th:dance3:. The only logical thing to do now is to confirm our lodging for Sunday the 29th. Off I go to read reviews of hotels in the Orlando-Lake Buena Vista area.
