Quite a few people have sent me kind (yet naive) messages lately indicating that they think the Bichon in my sig is "sweet" and "cute" and "adorable", etc. Ha-ha-ha.
Note: I have posted a new picture of Beanie the Meanie which shows, more accurately, her true (filthy) self.
Yesterday, DH came home for lunch and called me in the office indicating that "we" had a little problem. Apparently Beanie decided to "pick" an apple ornament off the tree and devoured it. She now has hot pink front paws and a hot pink muzzle. Oh joy!
After a more thorough inspection, DH discovered that after ingesting the "apple", she then made her way to the family room and brought the "apple" back up--in two little hot pink spots. My DH, being the Martha Stewart that he is, decided to clean up the mess by rubbing in carpet cleaner. Now, we had two LARGE hot pink spots on the carpet.
Luckily diluted bleach took out the pink without taking out the carpet's original color. And even more luckily, Beanie is okay.
The moral of the story. Don't leave any dangerous ornaments low on your tree if you have a chewer in the house.

I highly recommend a few Bichons for those "three dog nights".
