Let me ask you about Crocs... :)

oh the confusion! :joker:

Seriously, i guess i'll need to go buy a pair at a store and step around them a bit until i decide, this way i can return them if needed.

I've had a funky knee since my grade 3 MCL tear last year, now lately i've had electric shocks running down both sides of my tibia area, wierd. Part of my rump is numb..now if thats not to much info, i'm guessing in need a good orthotic type shoe! :p I was hoping losing wieght would help, but after nearly 30lbs its gotten WORSE!!!

WHERE IS THAT DARN POPCORN! (this low carb thing is a killer lol) popcorn::

I have had three knee surgeries, including a reconstruction, and love my Crocs. In the summer, I choose not to take them off. I only wear sneakers at the gym or exercising . . . . my Birks have been sitting on the shoe rack for over a year.

I like them all! I currently have: Beach, Nile, and Athens. I ordered the Scutes but had to send them back to get a different size, and I'm planning on getting a pair of the new Mary Jane's very soon!

I have a pair of the Beach, two pairs of Niles, two pairs of Aspens, and two pairs of the Athens flip flops. I love my Aspens for work even though they run a little small (I've never worn a 9 in my life). The Beach are the most comfortable pair I've worn to WDW. I wore the Athens this past May and had to return to the room within just a few hours due to hot spots on both feet (just below the big toe areas). I wore my Niles to WDW in May '05 and Sept '05 and they caused blisters in the same areas. However my D-I-L wore my Niles that same trip and loved them.

I'm afraid I usually wind up in my Teva Mush flip flops as they are the most comfortable shoes I own. I love them more than all my Crocs put together.

When I was at WDW in May I saw boys as well as girls wearing them.

I bought Airwalks for the whole family (minus DH who wouldn't wear them if I paid him!) at Payless during BOGO and it cost me about $10 a pair, much less than Crocs and I find them really comfortable. As for boys wearing them, 4 of my kids are boys (9,7,4 and 18months) and they all love them and wear them in different colours. DS4 has them in the green/yellow mix and always gets compliments on them about how cool they are. DD6 loves them too. I got a pair for myself and recently got the flip flop style of Airwalks which are also really comfy!! :thumbsup2

Do NOT, I repeat do NOT get the Niles. I took a pair to WDW and hated them, regreted every minute they were on my feet. They are not at all cushion-y like the "regular" crocs are. I hav two pair of Payless Airwalks which are great - I wore those the other 6 days at WDW and my feet felt fabulous the rest of the time. The one day with the Niles though - YUCK. Blisters, horrible sore heels, hot spots. Ugh.

I have to disagree with you. I love my niles they're not as wide as the regular crocs and not as floppy either. My mom even wears them to work<she's on her feet all day> and has no problems with them. Also the payless ones make my feet sweaty and gross. I think it depends on the shape of your foot the niles are better for thoes with a regular to narrow witdth foot.

I Work at a shoe store an I am currently pushing my boss to carry the crocs
all the styles fit different. I would reccomend trying them on and yes boys do wear crocs. they are awesome and lightweight. Highly reccomended!

I would suggest trying them on before you buy. I have the original clog-style (don't remember the name) and love them, but the new Athens style just isn't comfortable on my foot - much prefer my Borns.
