Less than a week! What am I forgetting to pack?

Never thought to bring a night light!

FOllowing this because we leave in a month and I'm already worried I will forget something

If you do the pressed penny machines, put sets of quarters and pennies in one of those mini M&M holders. It keeps them together and easily accessible so you're not having to dig through your pocket or purse to try to find the right change!

I bring a power strip with me. Hotel rooms have so few accessible outlets and we have so many things to charge or run at night.

- a light jacket for cool nights
- clip on hand sanitizer
- a small pack of baby wipes ( these come in so handy for cleaning up sticky hands or dirty surfaces)

Now that CVS is so close to the parks, it makes it much easier to buy whatever we've forgotten at home. We also bring spare Rx meds and a written copy of the Rx for emergencies. That way if we need something on a day our doctor is not in the office, we already have a prescription ready to go. We also pack a small kettle to boil water in the room. The hotel coffee makers never get the water hot enough and they seldom get cleaned (try wiping one out sometime!). Our kettle allows for really hot coffee and tea, instant soup or oatmeal, etc. Don't forget the Clorox wipes to disinfect your hotel room (doorknobs, TV remote, phones, etc.).

We have 6 people in our family, so space in the rental car is at a premium and I try to pack as light as possible. Especially because it's less to keep track of once I'm there. There is a Target really close to DL, so I always feel better when I think that if I need something, I can run over there to get it. If you don't have a rental, ubers are so accessible to get now. My main concern is a power strip with our chargers plugged into it. That's something that would be a little pricey to replace. I've never needed a poncho, or moleskin, so I stopped taking those things.

-Advil/Tylenol
-Ziploc for phone on water rides
-Extra shoes or sandals for water rides, also can be used for trips down to the pool or spa so you don't get other shoes wet
-Extra shirts, extra socks (Even when it's cold it's amazing how much one sweats!)
-Also if you plan on dining at Napa Rose they have a dress code FYI, no place else does (maybe steakhouse 55, I don't know that restaurant)

We've eaten at NR many times and have asked about this in the past. There is no official dress code at NR, although, of course, the restaurant would like guests to show up clean and presentable. We've seen people in shorts and tank tops be seated in the main dining room without a problem. But it does look nicer when parties take the time to freshen up and change clothes (not necessarily fancy clothes) before dining. S55 is the same way. They will not turn away guests who come straight from the parks, but it does look nicer when guest make an effort to freshen up before checking in for their reservation.

Hand sanitizer! A couple of mini bottles full.

Gum (they don't sell it in the parks)

Snacks (even if you're flying some granola or energy bars are super portable)

Lip balm

Couple pairs of sunglasses

Small umbrella/poncho

Take photos of your tickets if you have them already (or do when you buy them at DLR)

Picture of your photo pass card too...we lost ours and they recovered our pics instantly as we had taken a pic of the bar code

Photopass! I have the preorder voucher and it's not yet with my stuff. Got it now!

And picked up a mini lantern for the stroller at night. Forgot that last time my DD wasn't happy with how dark it was in her stroller and was don't with glow necklaces.

7 ponchos take up a lot of space! Oh well. Hoping we don't need them!

-Small first aid kit
-BodyGlide & Moleskin (for feet)
-Ziplock bags
-A Sharpie
-Extra room in you suitcase for souvenirs

Ok. Lol. I give, what's the Sharpie for? Not to sound dumb, but. Or like a dumb butt! Lmao.

A Sharpie comes in very handy for autographs, both for characters (a Sharpie is easier for gloved hands to hold than a ballpoint) and for other special people. We once saw John Lasseter in DCA -- boy, was I glad I had my Sharpie on hand. Also, you can use your Sharpie to i.d. things, like drink cups or gift bags. And they are useful to put Mickey heads on band-aids when the little ones get an owie in the parks.

Just a few thoughts from our trips from years passed...Dont forget about your trading pins, if you are pin trading. I always leave home without socks, dont ask me why, I just never pack them. My mother in law once went away without her wallet and we (Canadians) once headed out without our passports!

Birth control. Disneyland is infused with intoxicating pixie dust, and you might come home with an unplanned "souvenir."

I actually think all the little screaming, crying kids having meltdowns everywhere you look is already excellent birth control!! Ear plugs though, might want to pack those!
