Hey Guys,

I've been lurking in the shadows for 10 years but I've come out into the light in desperation. :wave2: My DH and DD both have Aspergers (very mild form of autism). They don't do well with crowds. We booked our vacation way in advance and landed right in the middle of wwohp grand opening weekend:eek:

Any suggestions of other stuff to do!!!!!!!!

Please help!!!!!!:scared1:

Harry Potter will be in Islands of Adventure. Go to Universal, it will be far less crowded.

They are some unbeaten paths that very few people know about in both parks.
In IOA,at Popeyeye go past Me Ship The Olive and there is a very nice path that takes you around the ride and a great view of the lagoon. At Discovery Cove,in the back of the building there is a great area thats never crowded. At Marvel area, across from Spiderman there is another great quiet area behind the stores.

At the Studios, they got a area like central park, very tranquial and you can by-pass alot of the crowds as you head towards The Simsons. Also in front of the Simpsons there is a area less traveled. Both of these areas are next to the lagoon. The only part that will get very crowded at the Studios is around Jaws.It gets really bottlenecked there!

I'm sure there more. But these are the areas I go to for alittle downtime from the crowds.

Hope this helps.

Yes to this, especially the Meship one. Walking around that area is the ONLY place to see "Plymouth Rock" and several other puns that most people will miss. The area behind the Alterniverse shop (across from Spider-Man, near the Fruit stand) is a great escape. Also, along Sneetch Beach (go left of Green Eggs & Ham) is also quiet.

In USF, the Gardens of Allah, which is between Animal Actors & Mel's Drive-In, is a little place you can rest in. The alleyways in the NY area, across from Mummy, are a little niche where few people walk through. You can sit on the steps of one of the fake shops if needed.

I totally forgot about the NY area DM,its another fav of mine.I love the detail they put into it.:thumbsup2

Thanks guys. sounds like there are some spots to hang out where it's a little quieter.
