I love Les Mis, I remember watching the 10th anniversary concert on PBS when it aired.

I LOVED Animaniacs when I was a kid! I saw that episode after school one day not long after seeing Les Mis for the first time and almost fell over laughing. That was hysterical!

Finally! Looks like we have a complete soundtrack coming. It has a release date of March 19 in the UK, hopefully it will be out around the same time here:

Someone last nite, on the DIS Oscar Party thread, said that there is a rumor that Alfie Boe may play Valjean on Broadway. I just did a Google search and came up with this link, that quotes The Hollywood Reporter as the source, confirming that YES!!! Boe said he is in very early talks! That article was dated back in Sept 2012.

I think it's the most likely possibility, since Ramin Karimloo is going into the Toronto production. I hope so!!

I have a feeling Cameron's going to be pulling out the stops on this one, with the success of the movie and that he more or less admitted that the 2006 revival...kind of phoned it in.

As the OP of this thread, I am so excited to say that my daughter will be a freshman at Otterbein University this fall. She will be in the BFA program in Design and Technology. I am THRILLED (and so is she) that one of her first (if not the first) show with her new school will be Les Mis!!!! And, one of her very dearest friends will be a junior at Western Carolina and will be doing Les Mis in the spring. Their production will be directed by Terrence Mann!
